Revelations
A/N: I do NOT own Warehouse 13 or its characters. There's a small reference to RENT, see if you can spot it.
Myka had Just been released from hospital after surgery and a nurse was pushing her down the corridor in a wheelchair, when Pete walked around the corner to meet her. "My friend is going to take me from here" Myka told the nurse who walked away. "Are you ok?" Pete asked. "Yes it was benign" Myka answered, standing up. Just then H.G walked around the corner and Myka just stared at her gobsmacked.
"Hello Myka" Helena greeted. Myka recovered and angrily walked out of the hospital, pushing past Helena and muttering "Aren't you supposed to be in Wisconsin?". She got in the car and sat in the driver's seat but before she could lock the doors H.G got in the passenger's side. "Leave me alone Helena, you've made your feelings abundantly clear" Myka warned her.
"I was lying in Wisconsin. I was lying to myself and to you. I'd given up hope that my feelings would be returned. I'd given up without actually trying and once I stopped lying to myself, I wouldn't allow myself to give up. Saying goodbye to you that night was the most painful thing I've ever done and it made me realise that I couldn't…wouldn't give up on us. I'd just gotten my affairs in order when Pete phoned me about your surgery and I got here as quickly as I could" H.G told her, looking into her eyes, "Myka I like you a lot and not to sound too forward but I'm pretty sure I'm in love with you".
"You're pretty sure or you know?" Myka questioned. "I know, I love you" H.G responded trying to assure Myka that she was telling the truth. Myka searched Helena's eyes to determine if she was being honest and found love there. She slowly got a big grin on her face and her eyes welled with tears. "I love you too" Myka told her. "I'm so glad you believe me" H.G whispered.
"I can see it in your eyes" Myka whispered back. "Can I kiss you now?" H.G asked. "You better" Myka answered, before kissing Helena lovingly. "Wow" "Damn" They both breathed at the same time, once they had parted for oxygen. "We should have done that years ago" H.G stated. "Yes we should have" Myka agreed. After placing another peck on H.G's lips, Myka sat back in her seat and looked out the window for Pete.
"Where's Pete? He's got the keys" Myka asked. "He said he'd wait at the exit for the car park to give us some time to talk" H.G answered and held out the keys for Myka. Myka took the keys, started the car and drove off. They picked up Pete at the exit and drove back to the B&B, Pete asking them questions and half-threatening H.G to not break Myka's heart on the way back.
When they got to the B&B Artie, Claudia and Steve greeted them in the dining area. They instantly asked Myka if she's ok to which she told them she was. They were stand-offish to Helena until Myka told them it was ok and they had sorted things out. "We have something to tell you guys" Myka started, looking to H.G for support; "Helena and I are now officially a couple". "Finally!" Claudia exclaimed.
"You knew?" Myka asked. "We all knew" Artie answered. "Yeah you two were pretty obvious the whole time" Steve added. "If you hurt Myka again I will use an artefact on you" Claudia threatened. "I won't, I don't plan to ever hurt Myka again" H.G assured. "Let's go unpack your things" Myka suggested, pulling H.G upstairs and taking Helena's suitcase with them.
