This is old, it used to be part of my SasuNaru and NaruSasu oneshots collection so if it seems familiar it may be that you've read it before but I'm deleting that and posting them all separately, though I'm trying to fix them up before I post them

Forget me
Crackle, crackle
Leaves broke behind Sasuke as someone approached him. He knew that chakra it was all too familiar. "Naruto what are you doing here," Sasuke said without turning around.
"I…I won't give up on you," Naruto tried to remain strong, though it wasn't working very well.
"I won't go back Naruto," Sasuke said turning around. "Forget me."
"I won't forget you!" Naruto yelled, hoping to get it through Sasuke's thick skull that he cared about him.
Sasuke turned around and saw the blond boy in front of him, but he couldn't let his emotions get to him. Keeping his stern and uncaring look he said, "I won't go back, forget me."
"If you won't come back on your own, I'll use force to make you come back!" Naruto yelled running toward Sasuke for battle.
The boys fought until it was dark, Sasuke had the upper hand and ended up getting Naruto into a position he couldn't fit back in, leaving Sasuke to kill him.
"Do it, just kill me!" Naruto yelled tears running down his cheeks, finding once again that he still isn't strong enough to bring Sasuke back.
Sasuke prepared himself to kill Naruto, he knew what he would gain by killing his best friend, it is the one thing he felt he needed to defeat Itachi. As he was about to kill him Sasuke stopped mid-jutsu as he looked into those bright, big blue eyes and he knew he couldn't kill him.
He started to walk away when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Sasuke tensed up and yelled, "Forget about me!"
"I can't just forget about you!" Naruto yelled, tears still going down his cheeks, he hated his weakness.
This was his chance to tell Sasuke everything; he turned Sasuke around and softly kissed him on the lips. Pulling away, he looked Sasuke in the eye and said softly, "I can't forget you, I love you."
Sasuke's eyes widened and he pulled Naruto back into a kiss, this time more passionate and loving. He kissed down his neck leaving a hickey where he could while supporting Naruto, who felt his legs turn to jelly. Then just as quickly as it started, the kiss ended.
"I love you too, so please forget me," Sasuke said with the 'so please forget me' being more of a whisper.
Naruto opened his eyes as he felt Sasuke's warm body no longer pressed against his own. He looked around and found no trace of Sasuke, he searched everywhere looking for his raven haired lover, but Sasuke had disappeared and once again Naruto felt a tear rolling down his cheek.
Sasuke wanted Naruto to forget him, he knew that he may never go back to Konoha and he wanted Naruto to be happy and live his life. What he didn't know is that those three little words, 'I love you', was enough to keep the blond searching forever.
