I tried to clean it up a little bit and I took the song out, it's still not one of my favorites that I've written

I am posting all my oneshots from NaruSasu and SasuNaru oneshots into just being on their own so this is one of them and if it seems familiar, it may be that you've read it before

Twisted

Naruto looked over at Sasuke. He loved him, no matter what the raven did to him. The raven had pushed him away and said that he didn't need anyone, but Naruto could see through that mask. He wanted to break down all the walls Sasuke had built around his heart and he had done a good job so far.

It had been a year since he told Sasuke he loved him, Sasuke couldn't say it back, but Naruto understood. He knew that Sasuke felt that if he allowed himself to love someone then they'd just go away. His brother had killed everyone he cared about, and even with him now dead, Sasuke couldn't help but think that he'd still find a way to take away Naruto as well. The truth was, he needed Naruto, and he knew it too. Sasuke had been more real with Naruto than he has with anyone else in his life.

Naruto was sitting on the edge of a dock, thinking, as his feet dangled into the water. Sasuke saw him sitting alone and walked over and sat next to him. The dark haired boy put his head on Naruto's shoulder, showing how comfortable he was with the blonde.

Naruto just smiled, he knew people thought he was crazy to be with Sasuke. They called it wrong and messed up, mainly because they all thought that the blonde deserved better. Neither of the boys cared, no matter what they had a place in their hearts for each other.

Naruto kissed Sasuke's forehead and put his arm around the other boy. He remembered what Sakura had said. 'You're in over your head; he'll never say he loves you. You're crazy. Just forget him already, I did.' However, Naruto knew that even if he tried to, he couldn't let Sasuke go he wouldn't be able to forget him. They were in love, it didn't matter if Sasuke said it or not, Naruto felt it and that's all that mattered.

"Want to go home?" Naruto asked the raven sitting next to him.

"Yeah, let's go," said Sasuke as he lifted his head off of the other boy's shoulder.

The boys walked to the house that they shared, that was one of the things that proved to Naruto Sasuke loved him. They shared a house; what's more, they shared the Uchiha house, which Sasuke didn't even like people to be inside, he was the exception. Sasuke trusted him enough to let him live there, what was more, he even asked him to live there.

Once at home, Sasuke dragged Naruto up the stairs. "Let's take a nap," the raven-haired boy said.

"I'm not tired," Naruto argued.

"Then just come lay with me," Sasuke said as he continued to drag Naruto up the stairs.

"Fine," Naruto said with a smile.

They lay down on the bed; Naruto had his arms around Sasuke's waist. Sasuke smiled a little, he loved having Naruto's arms around him, and it felt safe. Before the tired raven went to sleep, he quietly said, "I love you."

Naruto smiled and said, "I love you too."
