I wrote this about a month ago for a different site, but I thought I could 'forward' it to here. (And just so you know, my phone is working again! You'll learn about it in here.)

Now, when we have a trial/suffering, we first turn to who: God or Satan as the cause for our suffering? If you are like how I used to be, then you would respond "Satan".

The truth is, that often our suffering comes from God. But why would God put suffering on us? The answer is to teach us.

We here this all the time though… that teaching comes from suffering that people have learned through their suffering some important "life lesson". For many of us though, for the teenagers and adults of the "modern world", that no longer comes with any meaning. Things happen, but we don't normally learn from them… or if we do, we don't find the life lessons that the adults in our lives talk about.

That's when God comes in, God shows us what the message is though even then we don't always listen. A message that God has taught me recently is to keep my promises or to pay the consequences:

I received a phone about half a month ago, and now it isn't working correctly sometimes. I think this is God trying to remind me to keep a promise I made to Him this year that I haven't been keeping to Him.

Look back at your trials and sufferings, do you see a pattern or a possible reason for it? "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7

Dear God,

Please help all of us to look for what you are teaching us through all the trials, tribulations, and sufferings of today. We know that you only put these upon us to teach us, please help us to remember these teachings so we no longer go through the same thing today or tomorrow or even a year from now. Thank you for sending your Son, Jesus to die for us and thank you for this day that we can use to bring glory to you.

It's in your Son, Jesus', precious name that we pray, Amen

I hope you all have a good morning, day, or night (depending on the time of day you are reading this). I also want to add, if anyone has any prayer request, just message them to me and I will add them in next Bible Message's prayer (don't worry I will not say any names).

God bless all of you!
