I don't own primeval or Torchwood. This is my first crossover, the idea came to me and I thought I'd give it a try.
Georgia Parker as rushing around the apartment that she shared with her fiancé,Owen. The two lived together, despite Owen's condition. They had met on Georgia's first day at Torchwood, a secret organisation arming the human race against the future. Owen had been a womaniser, and had targeted her as soon as she walked out of the conference room after her first team meeting. The usual tricks hadn't worked though. The pet names, innuendos and the obvious leaning towards her when he walked past her. It had come to a point where she had had enough, after two months, and she confronted him about it. They ended up going on a date that same night and here they were, ten months later, living together and engaged. There was a slight problem though; Owen, technically, was dead. He had been shot after he stepped in front of her and Jack at the PHARM, a drug company using aliens as their medicine supplies. Dr Aaron Copley had intended to shoot Jack, yet ended up killing Owen instead. Georgia thought it was over then, she didn't know what to do. But then, Jack brought him back with the resurrection glove.
For some reason that she couldn't explain, Georgia still loved him and wanted to be with him. The others saw it as weird but she couldn't loose him again.
Owen pulled her out of her train of thought by slamming the front door and making her jump.
"What's happened now?!" Owen was always arguing with Jack, their immortal boss. What they didn't realise was, they were both very similar in personalities when it came to leadership. That was why they always disagreed.
"Jack happened! Told me that I couldn't leave until I'd completed the autopsy on another weevil victim. They would have still been there tomorrow! But no, nothing is ever good enough for the high and mighty Jack! I'm fed up of it. He can't treat me like..."
Georgia cut him off by placing her hands on his face and making him look her in the eye.
"I will speak to Jack. He knew how important tonight is for me and how important it is to me that you're there with me. Just forget about it for tonight. My sister and her friends are arriving and they don't know anything about Torchwood or the fact that you're...not quite...well that you're dead."
Owen rested his head on hers, he had gotten better at judging how much pressure to apply since he couldn't feel resistance anymore. The first time he had grabbed her hand, he nearly broke it because he didn't realise how hard he was holding it.
"What time is Jess getting here? And who is she bringing?" Owen had spent so much time at work recently that he didn't know what was going on outside of the hub.
"She should be here in about an hour. She said something about bringing her boyfriend and her old roommates: Becker,Connor and...Abby! Yep that's right. I wasn't really listening when she was telling me, she rambles too much. "
"I'll go get cleaned up then. Then I'll set up the guest bedroom. Wheres everyone sleeping?"
"Well...Jess and Becker are sleeping on the guest room, Abby and Connor are sleeping in the main bedroom and I'm gonna sleep on the sofa. "
Owen lowered his eyes to the floor. They hasn't brought up the issue of sleep for a long time, or the fact that he didn't have to sleep anymore. He usually worked through the night at the hub whilst Georgia slept so it wouldn't be awkward.
"I'll go and set the bedrooms up then."
Owen let go of her and walked into the bedroom to change. Georgia sighed, wondering how they were gonna pull the whole dead fiancée and running around after aliens thing off.
