Story: One Day...

Chapter: One

The alarm goes off. It's 7:00 A.M., a 16 year old boy, that goes by the nickname of Shadow, lays in his bed. He wakes up and puts on a pair of dark blue jeans with his belt and puts on a black T-shirt that says, "who cares." He puts on a denim baseball cap and turns it backwards. He walks into the kitchen and quickly downs two pieces of toast without even sitting at the table. He grabs his skateboard and rushes out the front door. He walks down the street for a little bit, he sees something strange, a sort of pixilated flash but it is gone within a second. He dismisses it and keeps walking, thinking his mind is just messing with him. He gets three blocks before some boys he knows stop him and ask him to get in their car. He stands there a minute then refuses. He walks into an empty parking lot and begins to skateboard, all that is in the parking lot is an old disconnected payphone, a street lamp that hasn't been lit for years and a big shell of an old abandoned grocery store. Suddenly the pay phone starts to ring, he picks it up and hears a deep voice …
"Don't look now, Shadow, but you are being followed. Run as fast as you can and get the hell out of there."

"Who is this?" but the phone line has been disconnected.
He starts skateboarding to his house as fast as he can, but "They" are blocking his front door, and Their black car is in front of his house. He skates faster down street after street. Their car is following him. He ducks behind an alleyway.

"You there stop! We want to talk with you!" They yell.

He throws his skateboard over a fence in the alleyway and hops over it. Right as he gets to the end of the alleyway he sees Them approaching the corner and ducks under a big arm that tries to grab him. He gets back on his skateboard and keeps going.
He keeps going and going, but no matter where he goes They follow him. Finally he is picked up by a red car that does not belong to Them. He sees Morpheos sitting next to him…

"You've stumbled upon something big here. You have two choices..."
