A/n Haiku poetry about the new Doctor and his companion. This is not posted from home because not only is my laptop not there & the PC packed away temporarily in boxes, but we're re-doing the house and... well, every thing's in various boxes, and I'm expected to help with painting etc so...
The Lonely Angels
One
Two strangers they are
He's hardly an acquaintance!
But something is there…
A stalemate between
Them as they stare. Eyes are locked
Confusion in hers
"But- but who are you?"
I'm the Doctor, a TimeLord
Her eyebrow creases
Doctor. Lord of Time.
Just words- meaningless to her.
Lost in translation
A Sentient ship,
A translator- of sorts
Time And Relative
Dimension In Space
A space-ship from Galifrey
Majestic beauty
He an alien
He seems to be an angel
But his eyes are dark
A shutter will fall
Behind those Ancient brown eyes
An Angel alone
Two
My name is Amy
I'm a police officer
Well- training really
She's the honest type
And her smile is friendly too
And ginger hair- Bonus!
Intelligent eyes
Where curiosity shines
But will she follow?
He can at least ask
You can't know until you try
No harm in trying
Would she save the world?
Run! With beasts chasing behind
Laugh despite the cost
Stand, brave beside him
Stop him when he goes too far
This one he thinks will
An Angel alone
So long without companion
Find someone she'd said
No more an angel
I need someone to join me
No longer alone
