A/N: this was written in first-person singular, yet with Fred and George speaking in unison. Please R&R!
Somehow Still Together
"Why?" George said to himself. As well as Fred who was just a soul standing there. They were both standing, and staring down at Fred's dead body.
"We saw everything the same way, finished each other's sentences, and confused mum about who was who, and she would fall for it. Yet we can't die together.
George, who had been strong enough to stop crying, started again.
"He/I died laughing. We both knew that would happen. But how will I go on? My partner-in-crime won't be with me. I won't go into the shop with him every day, day after day. In our eyes, everything has a good side, a bad side, a sarcastic side, and an idea, but this time is just bad and scary. What will my future look like from here? What will I do?"
(A/N: From this point on its first person singular like they are both talking, but not at once.)
"Do I go home?" George started to cry harder with the thought of not leaving with him by his side. The Weasley Twins were now just one, and a memory.
Fred looked at George, who just put his head down, and closed his eyes
"What do I do now?" Fred ask himself Just Then, a big, bright light blinded him. He walked right through knowing where it was leading him to, and was shocked to see where he really was. He saw a gate with a man standing in front.
"Surprised to see me?" the man side. Fred knew it was God. Yes he was shocked to see Him. After everything both he and George had done, he had thought that he would end up somewhere else.
"Yeah, I am."
"Well, you had someone looking after you." God said with a smile. Fred smiled too. He knew why he was there.
George smiled as well. He didn't know why, but had a good idea. He walked away from the scene, and to move on, yet doubted he ever would.
Fred walked throw the gate smiling even bigger. He knew George had been praying for him. George now had a new guardian angel watching over him. Fred wasn't going to let anything happen to George no matter how badly he wants to see him standing next to him every day just like old times. But he still wants him to live a good rest of his life. Gred and Feorge will be back together some day.
"With our minds," They said in unison again, "we get through it all. We stick together, no matter what. We're still with each other, somehow."
