Hey guys! I thought of a story, that i feel is a bit more darker but basically it shows pre beast adam and his vanity and cruelness. We also see the back story of Lefou and Gaston and the reason behind their friendship and why Gaston can seem so well...Gaston. I know it is just a little bit but if anyone likes it I'm writing the second chapter currently which will be much longer i just don't want to waste my time on anything that no one wants to read, sorry it really isnt the best.

They sat at the table as always, waiting for their parents to join them. It was one of the better nights, for they waited in silence, their chairs facing each other yet none spoke. The young prince was too exhausted to make an ugly remark at the dinner table when he had his chance. The shy princess was glad. When one thought usually of a prince, one might think chivalrous, honorable, and brave. Surely he was brave yet he had nothing else to stand on. He was a vain youth. And why should it have been any different? He was next in line to rule a great country, the people loved him. It's hard not to grow up that way when you've had people waiting on you and cheering your name since birth. Prince Adam was an arrogant and hot tempered prince, who loathed Cecile to his core. She never did anything out right to upset him or make him despise her so, it was something she had no control over. He hated her because of who she was, how she looked outwardly, never even trying to understand her internally. He thought her to be ugly, a mistake that should have never been brought out in public. He thought that she tarnished the royal family's image and he gave every opportunity to let her know exactly that, well, at least, when their parents were out of hearing distance. And that is why the night was odd. It was such a stark silence that dragged on. After many passing minutes the King and Queen finally appeared in the room, out of respect the children rose, and the family was seated.

"Adam!" their father's voice had a natural boom to it. "How was your hunting lesson with Gaston?" Gaston was the royal huntsman. He taught Adam and regularly brought us deer to eat.

"Very well father! I'm a natural if I don't say so myself!" he boasted with a satisfied smirk.

Cecile was about to speak of her day but as she began to part her lips, Adam fed her a death glare. It was not her time to speak, and apparently there was never a good time to make herself known. She a fraction in her chair and listened quietly to Adams "fascinating" stories of his day.

They finished off their dinner and as the two left to go to their separate quarters Adam suddenly had Cecile pinned against the wall.

"If you EVER interrupt me again you will be sorry!" he raged and shoved her deeply into the wall as he descended up the stairs and away for the night. She stood there for a long while wondering if there would ever be more for her than resting involuntarily submissive in her older brother's shadow. Her deepest fear was that when her parents passed on what would become of her?
