Emperor Kaddar

Emperor Kaddar

By Lady Star

My uncle has resigned

The role now falls to me

All the countrymen expect

A delightful ecstasy

The fields will grow ripe grains

The trees will harvest fruit

The fisherman will catch great fish

For all there will be food

The banks will suddenly right themselves

The debtors will have no debt

The rent that's due next month

Of course the emperor will pay instead

And not to mention, I've fallen in love

With a blue-gray eyed brunette

She takes not the least interest me

Might as well date Varice instead

This fair and mystic delicacy

Was certainly not for me

She croons over Master Numair Salmalin

Nicest couple ever seen

Groans of dismay

Mutters of spite

Curses giving all

Mothers a fright

I never learned to handle this job

it was planned for me to die

The powers vested within my blood

That I now suddenly realize

I thank with all my heart the gods

But most, The graveyard hag

For I am the sole ruler

The Emperor of Carthak

Authors Note: Cool! I've never done an authors note before. I know this is a little OOC for the stiff Kaddar. But . . . if your uncle turned himself into a stormwing and you were left to rule a kingdom, wouldn't you go insane too?
