Listen, Ezra… I've been thinking a lot about what you said. I looked at my yearbook and everyone else had all their clubs and activities below their pictures. Mine was blank. I know that looks like I missed out, but that's because my high school experience can't be summed up in 10 words or less. Do you think I could put all the crap with Alison's murder and resurrection there? Or when Emily was kidnapped? Or when I was nailed into a box with a dead body?
Even without you, my experience wouldn't have been "typical". You made my life bearable and brought me joy and comfort when nothing else did.
So yes college is a time of growth and change, but I want to grow with you. Explore with you. I'm not going to grow to resent you because I know you won't hold me back from anything.
I think most people my age are waiting for graduation or college to feel like their life has really "started". I don't have to wait. My life started when I met you.
