There is something strange, yet funny about having your past be your future. My past, or better yet my parents past has been my future for the better part of five years now. Looking at the calendure I realize that today is my older brother Rex's brithday, and according to the year today about five p.m eastern time he will be laying my our mother's arms and adored by all the League members. I miss my brother and the other team member, Batman, Aquagirl, Static,...War Hawk, all of them. I'm sure they all miss me and believe me to be dead, after all I disappeared without a word, of course I'm more than certain that Uncle Bruce knows where I've gone to. After all I did get employed at Wayne Enterprises and i have met with him quite a lot since I've been here. Thanks to me I know the future the people I love will be safe from the Thangarians and Earth will have a better chance to save its heros.

These heros are why i've chosen to give up my future an life for. In my time I was called the Green Lantern, passed down from my father and was able to be with my soul mate. I'm driven by the promise I made to a friend, that promise keeps me going and give the life I'm responsible for hope. Hope that the future I make for him will be better than the future that we are certain to have with the path that has been chosen for us.

"Dr. Stewart?" a deep voice comes from behind me. I'm not suprised or started about Mr. Wayne standing behind me. I turn and give him a small smile.

"I told you Mr. Wayne to call me Kairi. Dr. Stewart makes me fell old." He gives me that flurtations smile that I'm sure all his female employies get.

"Well Kairi. Isn't it time that you picked up your nephew from school?" The expression on my face made him laugh the reply, "I make sure that I know everything about my employes. We can go over your lates project tomorrow when your ready." And with that he was gone.
