Mika took a deep breath, as she stared at herself in the mirror. She was covered from head to toe in white. Although, this time it wasn't the traditional Japanese kimono she wore; it was a beautiful white gown, that hugged her curves, and accented her body. Her hair was slightly curled, and fell down her back. A veil attached to a flowerly headband perched atop her head.
She had wanted a western wedding, and although she was already technically married, as she had gone through the traditional ceremony first, she was still nervous. She hoped that Tohma would think she was beautiful in her dress.
When it was time, she checked herself in the mirror once again, before stepping out of her dressing room. She watched as the brides maids that she had chosen walked in front of her, followed by her maid of honor. She peeked past them as they walked, keeping herself hidden, to see if she could spot Tohma.
There he was, standing at the end of the aisle. He was clad in a black suit, with a green tie and cumberbun. They had agreed on green and white for their wedding. Her brothers were standing next to him, and she smiled. So Eiri had made it, after all.
The music began to play, and her father appeared at her side. She smiled, linking arms with him, as she held her bouquet to herself. She stepped in time with the music, just as she had practiced a million times. Brown eyes met green, and she couldn't help but smile under her veil.
Tohma looked stunning in his suit. When she reached the end of the aisle, she hugged her father, then took Tohma's hand, facing him. His hands were soft and delicate, even for being musician's hands.
It seemed as if time had stopped, as she stared into his eyes. She had zoned out a little bit, realizing where she was when she heard Tohma say "I do." Paying attention, she listened to the Priest, and when it was her turn, repeated the same words.
Rings and vowes were exchanged. The ring Tohma had picked for her was elegant, and beautiful. A large heart shaped diamond. It was perfect, and she loved it. She had picked for him a simple gold band, with three small diamonds on it.
When it was time for the kiss, Tohma lifted Mika's veil slowly. He took in her beauty for the moment, before brushing his lips against hers, in a gentle loving kiss. Mika kissed him back slightly, as she heard everyone cheer for them.
The kiss was broken, and she smiled, leaning against her husband. It was the happiest day of her life, and she was so glad that her family had been there to witness it. She had a feeling, that it would only get better from there on out.
