My Dearest Romeo,
Thou are like the ocean's waves gently caressing me, showing me what it's like to love. They softly brush the dry, arid sand, rejuvenating and filling it with life. Gleaming and glittering, they reflect all that is beautiful in the world, all that we can be. But alas, only in the moonlight does the tide allow the crests in. For when dawn approaches, they must leave the sand once again. Always in the ocean will they lie, but now only encompassing the isle which I'm confined. Away from the sand thou will forever drift, reflecting what can never be. Oh it is something I cannot withstand. Oh Romeo! Thou glitter against this dull sand. Carry me away!
Oh Romeo! What a dreadful, forsaken deed thou have committed. Wherefore art we made enemies of each other? From our families' feud a black hatred was born, and an ominous abyss keeps us apart. Deep and inescapable, will it consume my only light of hope? Now the cold-hearted Prince banishes thee for slaying my dear cousin, Tybalt, and tears fill my heart for I still love and yearn for thee. Banishment is a fate worse than death. Art thou condemned to die? Through airy word the feud between our families began, and through vengeance and bloodshed did it mount. The sinister chasm expands, and I fear only thy unmerited death will have it sealed. But our eternal love ties us together; a line that not even the Fates can cut. If thou are thrown into the abyss, I will follow thee. For only with thee, will I feel safe.
Forever yours,
Juliet
