Hey there, guys! So, if you didn't already know, my fanfic 'Twinstagram' is on hiatus. Until then, there are a few other projects I've been meaning to write. This one, 'Haze', then there's 'Grey', 'Thirst' and 'Psywave'. I'm bored on a road trip in Canada, so I'm just going to put the main ideas in here.
Haze—When a cursed fog falls over Gravity Falls, and everybody is separated, Dipper must form a group and survive, while trying to solve a personal mystery: the reason of Wendy's mysterious disappearance.
Grey—The gnomes return and kidnap Dipper. Jeff's wife, a fairy named Arlene, puts a curse on Dipper, to make him grow a decade older every midnight. Dipper has six days to reverse the curse, until he's so old, he's reduced to dust.
Thirst—'"I don't tell you everything." Those five words Mabel spoke while Dipper healed Mermando at the time seemed like nothing. But the consequences of dating a vampire are vital.
Psywave—Gideon doesn't want to be this way. But the moment he laid eyes on Mabel, everything changed. She became the girl of his dreams. He consulted the journal for ways to win her affection. What he did changed him permanently. Now, he needs help from the last person that would ever want to.
Now that you've read those summaries, let's begin the story!
Dipper clutched Mabel's hand. Neither of them knew where they were in the mist. They didn't know which mountain Mabel would fall off if Dipper let go. They were trying to get above the fog that had descended on the town the day before. Something tripped Mabel, and if Dipper didn't have the dim lantern, she would have fallen to her demise.
Dipper grunted, and tried to pull Mabel up. She rose two inches, but that's as high as he could pull her. The dim lantern made it so that neither of the twins could see anything below Mabel's waist. Mabel looked at a root sticking out of the cliff. Using her free hand to grab onto it, she gave Dipper the most serious expression he had ever seen her face wear.
"Let go," she demanded.
Dipper's eyes widened in shock.
"Let go?" he replied in panic.
"Trust me!" Mabel said in a dull tone.
Dipper remembered their first adventure with the gnomes. His trust had gotten them out of it. He let go of Mabel's hand, and she swung onto the root. That's when Dipper realized he had made the biggest mistake of his life. While Mabel felt around with her feet to try and get a grip and climb up, Dipper saw the root begin to sag.
"Mabel!" he yelled.
But it was too late. The root snapped off the cliff. Mabel screamed. Dipper watched helplessly as his twin sister was engulfed by the fog. Though he couldn't see her, he listened to her cries as she fell. There was a deafening thud and crack, then silence. Dipper stared to cry. The boy watched his tears disappear into the fog. He couldn't see it, but his tears landed in a puddle of blood coming out of Mabel's back.
The incident was two days ago. Dipper stayed on the mountain. He set up camp in a cave near the cliff where Mabel died. For 24 hours after his twin's fatal fall, he had just sat in the cave, mourning his sister. Then, he told himself to man up. He had made fire, and got a lot of food. That night, he closed his eyes and remembered how the fog began….
