He slowly pushed up her sleeve revealing the scar.
"Don't." She begged.
With his eyes clenched, Harry breathed heavily holding in the tears.
"This shouldn't have happened. It's all my fault; all of it. Remus and Tonks; Fred and Lavender; Dobby! Hermione, this is all my fault. This shouldn't have happened…this shouldn't have happened."
A tear softly slid down Hermione's cheek. Harry's eyelids opened to reveal tears of his own.
"It's all over." She promised. "It's all over."
Harry nodded showing recognition. With a calm motion, he bent forward and laid his own scar on the "Mudblood" scar carved into Hermione.
And they sat.
They sat for minutes, hours; sat with their scars kissing. Hermione could feel Harry sobbing beneath her but she didn't care. She would always be there for Harry, through thick and thin.
Both felt as if they were connected. Not by blood or magical transfusions. They felt they were connected through a special friendship. A friendship that not even You-Know-Who himself couldn't break.
And with that, Hermione kissed Harry's messy black hair. A kiss that promised her love forever.
