Rose and the Doctor sat in the kitchen having a nice hot cup of tea after their last adventure. Rose was babbling away about nothing in particular until a specific sentence caught the Doctor's attention.

"I was on Facebook the other day and-" Rose babbled.

"Face-what?" The Doctor interrupted; completely baffled by the turn the conversation had taken.

"Seriously?" Rose asked

"What?"

Rose's jaw dropped. She tried desperately to hold back her laughter. "So you can search sub-frames, hack into secret government files and wipe the existence of a single person off the Internet with one disk but you don't know what Face-book is?" she asked. The only answer she received was a blank stare.

Rose's laughter filled the kitchen as she looked at the Doctor's confused face.

"You humans baffle me," the Doctor commented as he wandered down a Cardiff street with Rose, his coat wrapped around him tightly to try to keep out the cold air.

Rose rolled her eyes and turned to the Doctor. "Why?" she asked, with only minimal interest.

"You complain when you get a cold and put people in jail for indecent exposure, yet you see fit to wear things like that out in public," the Doctor replied, pointing to a teenager walking with friends. She was wearing a v-neck top and short shorts.

"Hey!" Rose objected "Both me and a lot of my mates used to wear shorts like that all the time! Are you saying something's wrong with our fashion sense?"

"No, no, nothing at all," the Doctor replied quickly.

"I just thought she had forgotten to put pants on over her underwear," he muttered to himself.

"Teenagers are so antisocial." The Doctor commented as he sat in a park with Rose.

"And the TARDIS is bigger on the inside," Rose replied with a smile

The Doctor looked at her strangely, "What?"

"Oh, I just thought we were stating the obvious," Rose said with a cheeky grin.

The Doctor rolled his eyes. "oh very funny. But seriously, especially in this time, they always walk around with their iPods in their ears, never talking to anyone. As little human contact and conversation as possible, which seems to be their goal," he said watching as, rather ironically, a group of teenagers walked by all listening to separate iPods.

Rose simply sighed "You're so old sometimes..."
