Reason for Tears
"Nnnn…" Tears form along the corners of Sasuke's eyes. "Stop…A-aniki…"
Itachi pauses briefly before reattaching his lips to Sasuke's neck. He is suddenly peeved however, when his little brother struggles, trying to writhe out of the tangle of sheets and Itachi's not-so-gentle embrace. The older Uchiha simply wraps his arms tighter around the thin torso, bringing a leg over Sasuke's hips while he is at it.
Sasuke sniffles and gives up, going limp in his brother's embrace.
Itachi chuckles gently, his lips curling oh so slightly into what could have been a mischeivious grin. "Shh…Sasuke, don't cry," –he places a light, gentle (but indicating something much more) kiss on the boy's bare shoulder—"I just want to play," he smirks against the shivering skin.
The young nin is pressed against his brother's chest, trapped in his brother's lankily muscled arms, his lower body straddled by his brother's legs. Their bodies are tangled in a splay of bedsheets, still jumbled from the night before; their dark tousled hair cascade upon the pillows. Sasuke begins to sob.
"Aniki, you're ruining my hair."
Itachi sighs and disentangles himself from his brother, his mood ruined. Sometimes Sasuke was just so very shallow.
