~ Will I Be Always Alone? ~

Natsu had been abandoned by his real parent and Lisanna. Heck, he was even abandoned by his foster parent (who was a dragon) Igneel. The day of the disappearance of his foster father was coming up soon and following that was his deceased, childhood best friend, Lisanna. Founding out that Lisanna was dead had a huge effect on Natsu, seeing as he was always comforted by her, even from the beginning, when no-one believed he was raised by a dragon. When everyone thought of him as the fire of hope, Natsu had always found Lisanna his 'bellow* of hope'. But when she had died, Natsu's flames had lost some hope and self-confidence he had that he was not alone. Everyone had comforted both the take-over siblings and Natsu about the death of Lisanna. Making a grave for her, he realised that Lisanna would of never wanted him to be in this state forever and slower build up his strength again.

7th of July was approaching and his strength had somewhat dimmed. Proof was that whenever Gray wanted to fight him or threw nasty insults at him, he would not make a slight change in his facial expression. His smile was not showing very often and Lucy, his team mate and nakama, had been feeling very worried. Lucy had tried to take him on missions that he would possibly enjoy but he had only rejected all of them.

Everyone was quite worried for the dragon slayer as the guild was quite quiet for the past days. They had also been getting very bored during the period when he always wanted to be alone so master had called Lucy to talk to him about Natsu.

"Lucy, do you think you could try to cheer Natsu up for us?" asked Makarov to her.

"Huh? How come Gray or Erza can't do it? They know him more than I do." replied Lucy. Makarov gave her a stern look of disbelief. How could she not know?

"I think you know better that Natsu would never open up to Erza, she's to scary or to Gray since Natsu finds him overly annoying but you, on the other hand have the capability of cheering him up, Lucy" he stated firmly.

"But why is it only me?"

"But you two share a special bond since the beginning. I though you knew Lucy!" a clearly shocked master answered back. Lucy had only stared back, but nodded in understanding towards the master and headed towards Natsu.

"Hey Natsu, let's go to my house, I'll cook food for you, and you can tell me all about your problems. If you think I won't understand, think again. I ran away from home since my father was too proud about his fortune and never cared a penny about me! I know your feelings. It's similar to the feeling I had when Mama died." Lucy had sniffled and tears started forming in her eyes. Natsu had finally taken notice but instead of a blank look, he wore a face of sympathy.

"Alright, I'll come with you" said Natsu in a neutral tone

Lucy and Natsu walked silently down the river, not talking to each other. Lucy had stopped suddenly, causing Natsu to turn around slowly.

"What is it Luce?"

"You know, you're not alone Natsu. You have nakama right at Fairy Tail! You should know that by now! Many years have passed since you've joined the guild, so why are you still looking like all there is to life is gloom or doom! Everyone loves you know! From the master, to Mira, Gray, Erza and Happy! Even me you know!" cried Lucy.

A look of surprise flashed across his neutral face. Seems like he understand now thought Lucy.

"Thanks... Lucy" said Natsu cheerfully giving her a face-splitting smile. "Let's go back to the guild! Oh man, I am so gonna kill that Gray, he called me a sadistic girly boy!" yelled Natsu.

"Okay let's go back Natsu! Glad that our Natsu has comeback!" smiled Lucy. Natsu grabbed her hand and ran back to the guild, letting go and busting into the guild screaming "GRAYYYY!"

Oh boy, thought Lucy, another massive guild fight will unfold... AGAIN!
