NOTE: So, Iliked the idea of a poetry collection. The themes every time I update will be different. I'll be doing this as a 100 Prompt Challenge, and I hope you enjoy it! I think I'll do this one based on different members of the team, so there'll be a variety of people speaking. This time, it'll be Prentiss!

Life

I turned it away

That day

Twenty six years ago

I never had

The chance to know

A child's love

My daughter

If I had

Gone through with it

What

Would have happened?

I'd be a mother

And know that feeling

JJ and Sandra and Hotch

All feel

That love

That terror

That compassion

That happiness

Sometimes

I wonder

Did I make

The right choice?

At the end

Of the day

There is no right

There is no wrong

For my choice

Contributed to

My character

And my life

So maybe not then

Maybe not now

But I will know that feeling

Someday
