"Why won't Alohamora open this door?"

"'cause I'm sitting against it!

"You! It's not Him again, is it, Ginny?"

"NO! Bog off!"

"Come on then. Fifty years of you lot blubbering in my bathroom..."

(pause) "Myrtle - did you ever love someone, so badly it hurt, and they didn't seem to notice you?"

"Myrtle?"

"Myrtle - I didn't mean to make you cry."

*sniff* "Don't I have feelings? Of COURSE I loved someone."

"Did he know?"

...

...

"Myrtle? You can tell me."

"It was a GIRL! I loved a girl and she laughed at me and said I looked ugly in glasses and I hid in here and I wanted to DIE." (pause) "And then I did."

"Oh Myrtle! I... I wish I could hug you. I didn't realise ..."

Wiping her incorporeal nose with her hand, Myrtle giggled "You know what?"

"No..."

"Go out with someone else. That'll show Harry!"

"I suppose." Ginny mused. "Michael Corner's been asking me to go to Hogsmeade for weeks now."

She leapt up and hugged Myrtle, her arms flying through the other girl. Both burst out laughing and the sound echoed around the bathroom in a way that was only slightly eerie.
