Answers in italics. I'm not telling you who is the spirit, it;s best remained ambiguous, so I'll leave it to you.
The Spirits of Bevy May
What do you know of the spirits of Bevy May
Who lived here long ago?
Where the sun touches the eternal sea as I say
Where the silver streams flow?
They flitter in my mind
In dreams of rosy meadows
The most beautiful that I can find
With their steadfast warm glow?
They live far ahead in the wintery trees
Where nobody can see
Where the sedge canopies this world with all its ease
To save it from you and me
How shall I find this Bevy May?
What must I possibly do?
To find this angel of a fairy who loves all Pokémon, especially me
That fair maiden that I must woo?
Do not pester me with this question
They live far, far away
From the inquiring eyes of this world of contradiction
In lands of which no one can say
Where the sedge canopies this world
With its beautiful flowers
How did they desert their land of paradise unfurled?
To bask you in their beautiful showers?
She said it; she said to me
That she'll be back at the hour of dawn
From her utopian land of love and merry
When all the world has gone
Lo, Behold, my dear do not speak
For you must have failed to see
That the one maiden you seek
Is no one but me
I became a spirit years ago
Pining for love
For someone to me his face won't show
With all that grace he shows above
Do not worry, though
For I can always leave
I was the fairy spirit of Bevy May, across the row
Abandon me to weep and grieve
Who says I must?
In all your beautiful honesty and grace
I will be with you even after the ends of time will rust
A different track away from this Rattata race
Forget what the world will say
They could scorn all they desire
Love will find its natural way
And take us far above higher
And so as I proclaim
In my heart due
That as long as destiny plays its game
My heart belongs to you.
