Komui sat across from me, writing something. I closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep. "Kanda!" Beansprout called.
I opened one eyes. "What."
"Were going out for a bit, wanna come?" I was bored anyway, be I'll go just to kill time.
"Fine." I got up from where I was sitting and followed him.
"Let's go get Lenalee." I raised an eyebrow.
"Alright."
When we finally found Lenalee, she was in the library looking at a book about Angels.
"Were going out for a while, wanna come?" Beansprout asked.
"Sure!" She said happily, putting the book away.
We got out of the Order, without Komui wanting to follow us luckily. We walked to town talking.
"I'm glad Komui didn't stop me from going out with you guys." Beansprout knotted.
"Hey Kanda, I was wondering, you said something about a woman a long time ago. What did you mean?" Lenalee asked. I put my hands in my pockets.
"I don't wanna talk about it." I said.
"I'm sorry if I made you sad!" Lenalee apologized. I looked at her.
"No, it's ok." Before I knew it we were almost halfway there. Lenalee put her hand in mine. I gasped. I looked over at her, she was faintly blushing.
"Look! It's finally snowing!" Beansprout said. We all looked up. The little soft white molecules fell softly on us. I suddenly felt a gentle shove my stomach. I looked down from the sky. A lady, about my age with long hair worn up in a ponytail with a band of cloth wrapped around the base, near her scalp, and an Alice band had bumped into me.
"I'm sorry." We said at the same time. She walked away. Something clicked in the back on my brain. She took a few steps then turned around.
"Kanda?" She said. I opened my eyes wider.
"Alma?" Lenalee and Allen were staring at me, then Alma, then back at me. Alma put her hand to her mouth and started crying.
"Omg!" Soon she was hugging me. "I missed you so much!" She looked me in the eye. I didn't know what to say, period. Sure I missed her, but when you haven't seen someone in five years, what the heck do you say to them? She pushed her lips to mine and I opened my eyes in shock. Lenalee smacked her in the face, hard.
