A/n: I'm not too sure if this idea makes much sense, but well it won't get out of my head so I am forced to write it down. Either that or it will keep playing in my head until I do. Anyways this is what I think should have happen in Better off Alone part 1 after Eli bumped into Clare when they were leaving class! It's just a short drabble/one-shot. Enjoy!

So you're In Love with Me?
Clare huffed up to Alli still fuming about Eli. "He's just so..UGH, you know!" She fumed not being able to hold back her anger any longer.
""I get it, Clare. You're in love with Eli, but can we talk about something more important like that?" Alli teased laughing at Clare's anger and then turned to gawk once more at Drew.
Alli then proceeded to go on and on endlessly about Drew which Clare only half paid attention too.
"Have you even talked to him yet, Alli?" Clare asked seriously.
"You can't just talk to a guy like that!" Alli scoffed causing Clare to mentally roll her eyes, but then she noticed Drew was about to walk right past them and at once an evil plan formed in her mind. She was sure Alli would be furious at her, but right then she was going to take the chance.
"Well Alli you better think of what to say," Clare smiled.
"What do you mea-" Alli was cut off from her question as Clare suddenly shoved her right in front of Drew.
Clare laughed out loud on the look that was plastered on her best friends face, but suddenly she heard a low chuckle coming from behind her which made her instantly whip around to face whoever it was. That's when she came face to face with a smirking face that held green eyes that would only belong to one person. Yup there behind Clare stood Eli Goldsworthy. He looked oddly amused the smirk still resting on his face.
"So you're in love with me?" Eli teased chuckling as he saw a red blush form neatly on Clare's face.
'He heard what Alli said to me!' Clare realized as the blush grew a deeper shade of red making Eli laugh even more, 'Oh Alli is going to pay for saying that.'
"Wh.. What makes you think that!" Clare stuttered a bit but tried to sound unfazed by the whole thing.
"Oh I don't know maybe hearing I get it, Clare. You're in love with Eli." Eli teased once more quoting Alli flawlessly the smirk never leaving his face.
"Well you heard wrong!" Clare huffed annoyed by his sarcastic smirk. She suddenly turned and walked back to Alli, who looked really furious and embarrassed, quickly before Eli could say anything else.
Eli chuckled as he watched her make her hasty exit. 'Well that was interesting,' Eli laughed to himself before he turned and walked the other way.
A/n: Hmm I am actually kind of proud of this! I don't know if it is any good, but the idea randomly popped into my head. Now if only ideas could suddenly pop out for my Harry Potter fanfiction then I would be happy, but enough of me rambling about my writers block. I hope you guys enjoyed this long drabble/one-shot. Also yes I know I probably left out some lines which I forgot. I can't remember everything they said. That and I wanted it to not be completely word for word in the beginning.
