AN: So this again is apart of my personal writing challenge!
Character: Raoul
Topic: Destiny
A wise man once said, "Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them." It was always known what role Jon would play. He was the prince; he was born great. It took no time at all for him to step into his greatness. The first time he used royal authority was on Ralon of Malven. Jon wasn't even twelve when he ordered him to let the kid go. Right then and there, Gary and I knew Jon would become the king his father wanted him to be. He knew how to control a crowd and knew how to stick up for the little guy. He proved that with Alan of Trebond.
And then there's Alan, I mean Alanna. Form the beginning, she proved herself to be the best page and then the best squire the realm has seen. Now she is the Lioness. Its pretty clear she achieved greatness.
Gary falls in the third. When Queen Lianne, Black God guide her soul, died and Jon unofficially took over, Duke Gareth no longer wanted to be Prime Minister. sugary got shoved into the position. And he thrived. After the initial shock, the greatness settled and everything went swimmingly.
But if Jon was born great, Alanna achieved greatness, and Gary had greatness thrust upon him; where, Oh Wise Man, does that leave me?
