You Never Let Go- A Christmas Story

If nothing would be better, it's almost Christmas. My friends know I have never had a Christmas with someone. This year, I don't think it's different. I expect to be alone for Christmas. Sometimes, I think the TURKs don't really see me as a friend. Nothing has been good in my life. I haven't even gotten a Christmas present since I was a kid. Not a lot of people ask how my life was back then. All of a sudden, there was a commotion outside my office.

"Hey, you! Get back here!" I hear someone say. When I looked out my door, I saw someone running from Tseng. As I looked at the person closely, I saw that it was a guy and he was stealing something. So, I gushed out at him and tackled him. He was really startled.

"What'cha doin', yo?" I asked.

"Nothin'. Why?" He said.

While I was on him, Tseng came over and said, "Good job, Reno. You did that well." I nodded my head, giddy. I had never gotten praised by Tseng before. It felt good.

"Thank you, sir. What should we do with him, yo?" I asked.

"Take him to the interrogation room. Then you can interrogate him yourself. If you want to, I mean."

"Sure. I'll interrogate him, yo." I said. I then took the guy down to the interrogation rooms, found an empty one, and put the guy in there.

"What's your name, yo?"
"Hex."

"Okay, Hex. What were you doing in SHINRA, yo?"

"I just wanted to see the inside the building, but Tseng caught me. So, I had to do something. I just nabbed one of his pens and ran. That's it."

"Hmmmmm. I believe you. Do you want a special tour of the building? I could do that for you."

"Yeah. Thanks. I'd appreciate that. Y'know, it's almost Christmas and I'll be good for you and your good deed."

"Okay. That won't be necessary. I don't need it."
"If you don't want it, I'll just give it to another hero."

"Fine, I'll take it. Sheesh." At this time, Tseng came in. He just nodded to me, and motioned to outside the door.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS, RENO!" Everyone yelled (my friends, I mean.) I was really surprised and Hex just pat me on the back.

When I looked at him, he said, "Merry Christmas, Reno." Then he took the wig off his head, and I saw that it was Rude. I looked at him, flabbergasted. And then, we had our little Christmas party.
