OhJay- Thank you so much for letting me know how to spell his name. I went to a site that had his name, but apparently they were wrong about it, so thank you.
Wanna be Alchemist- I want to thank you especially, because you mentioned that my writing seemed really off and not well looked through, it made me look back and notice that it was my one paragraph rough draft. So Thank you so much. I know that my grammar and such is never going to be perfect but after looking over it again, I hope it looks a bit better.
Prolog~
The Rockbells had been gifted with a beautiful baby girl. She was born crying and punching, and right then they knew that she was going to be strong, that she would be the one to make it through the rough times with not only tears, but with smiles as well. That she would fight for what she believed in and who she loved, they knew right then, that they were given the best gift of all.
They named this baby girl Winry, a name that was meant to be elegant and strong. As the girl grew older she didn't only play with her dolls, but her father and grandma's tools, her favorite being a wrench. They soon found out she had a strong arm and a tough right hook.
Her parents were part of the State Military, being State Alchemists and dogs to the state, they didn't always want to have a child, but the most precious gifts are the ones that are surprises and even know, they believed in that.
While Winry was growing up her parents and Grandmother would introduce her to tools and auto mail, but the most important lesson was with Den, Winry's puppy.
Urey had brought Den home in his arms late one night when she went missing. Blood was covering his front and at least half the dog herself. He wasn't sure what had happened to the dog, but she was missing her front leg, and was going to bleed to death if they didn't act fast. Urey put the dog down on the operating table and called Grandma Pinako and Sara over to help him with Winry's poor puppy. Winry was sitting up against the all, refusing to leave her dog while they operated, in the morning Den had an auto mail leg, and Winry was by her side until she fully healed, this was the first sign of their daughter being elegant and strong, tough, and believing in life. This was the first sign of her loyalty.
For the next several years, Winry studied under her father, mother, and grandmother. Becoming to understand simple mechanics, and able to build simple machines. For being five years of age, she was growing fast.
Time past and Sara and Urey had to go off to war, known as the Ishbal Rebellion. Winry lived under her grandmother's watchful eye for the next year, in this time, her parents were saving lives, Winry grew, and in this time things were going to change, for the good, and the worst.
