Michael came through the front door of his house after a long, tiring day of school. He threw his backpack next to the couch and sat at the table to do his homework. Tony came by to snatch a snack from the kitchen before he went back to his office to do some paperwork. He ran his hand over his son's hair as he walked by.

"Good day at school?" He asked.

"No."

"What's up?" Tony asked as he took a sip from a can of soda as he leaned against the kitchen counter.

"Well it was going well until I got to a class I have with this really annoying girl. Dad, this girl is weird. She always says hi to me and whenever I say hi back she runs away. Sometimes she pokes me instead of saying hi. I don't understand it." Michael explained.

"Son, one thing to know: girls are complex. I still don't get them." Tony responded, taking another sip from his soda.

"Gee, thanks dad, you're such a big help."

"What's up?" Pepper asked, overhearing their conversation from the next room. She had been in the living room writing up paperwork that Tony was too 'busy' to do- busy meaning busy inventing things and working on the armor, of course.

"Dad doesn't know anything about girls." Michael explained, teasing his father.

"Genius here has a secret admirer." Tony retorted in a child-like manner.

"Yes, Michael, your father is clueless on a lot of things." Pepper said as she tousled Tony's hair a little. "A girl at school likes you?"

"She doesn't like me. She's just a freak." Michael corrected. Tony and Pepper shared skeptical yet amused looks. They moved the conversation to the living room as Tony sat down on the couch next to Michael and Pepper sat on the armrest next to Tony.

"Boy, trust me, she likes you. Why don't you try sitting next to her in class and try being her friend? Maybe you'll like her back." Tony advised.

"Where did all this smart advice come from? Where was all this relationship knowledge when we were just friends?" Pepper asked with a smirk.

"What? I picked up a few tips throughout our relationship." Tony explained. "So, kiddo, what do you say? Gonna make a new friend?"

"I guess so. But she seems so clingy and weird..."

"Oh, she's got nothing on your mother. She used to cling to me like there's no tomorrow." Tony explained, causing Michael to chuckle.

"Excuse me? I did not!" Pepper defended.

"I beg to differ. Maggia, Killer Shrike and Unicorn kidnapped us? You had met me earlier that week? You were super clingy that day. I remember crystal clear."

"Oh, come on, I was an immature teenage girl meeting some random traumatized famous kid. I thought you'd be all mysterious and cool and deep and stuff. Gimme a break."

"Still proves my point." Tony said smugly, folding his arms.

"What are you guys talking about?" Michael asked.

"Oh, nothing. High school memories." Toby explained briefly.

"But seriously. You used to be obsessed with me." Tony said.

"I will slap you, mister, just keep talking." Pepper threatened, holding her hand up.

"Oh no! Iron Man has nothing on a slap from you!" Tony teased.

"You're asking for it, mister!" Pepper said as she lightly slapped his arm. Tony grabbed her hand and pulled her onto his lap and into his arms, holding her tight there so she couldn't move.

"Tony! Let me go!" She said with a smile as she struggled to break free of his grasp.

"Never!" Tony said jokingly. Michael groaned in disgust as his parents played as if they were teenagers again and went back to the kitchen table to do his homework before his parents started making out or something. Tony and Pepper merely continued their childlike games until they tired themselves out enough to head back to Tony's office.

That's right, this one was kinda short too. I thought it was super cute though :3 review?
