Green
Riku X Kairi

A silver haired male sat in a black recliner, sighing.

On the couch opposite him, his friends snuggled together. Eyes shut tight, and smiles wide, even as they slept.

Riku had invited his friends over for their usual Friday Movie Night. But everything had seemed to change since Sora and Kairi started dating. Not only did Riku feel like a third wheel, he was also green with envy.

Stop it Riku, he scolded himself, Kairi is with Sora now, she'd never even look at you.

The silverette got to his feet and walked into the kitchen. He closed the fridge he'd previously opened, with a slightly loud bang. He popped the soda can open and settled on one of the kitchen bar-stools.

Kairi awoke from a noise emerging from the kitchen, where a light was shining into the darkened living room.

The red-head slowly got herself untangled from Sora, before walking into the kitchen.

Riku sat there with his back to her, sipping on some soda.

Kairi took the moment to allow herself to admire the way Riku's long silver hair flowed in it's spiky, choppy way. She eyed his muscles that were visible because of his sleeve-less shirt. Kairi took a step forward, but didn't watch where she was placing her feet. Riku turned around as he heard the clatter and caught Kairi before she face planted into the floor.

"Kairi!" he shouted in a whisper.

"Oh, hey Riku."

"Kairi, what are you doing?" the male helped the girl stand on her feet, and then sit on one of the bar-stools.

"I saw the light was on. I was just wondering what you were doing in here." she hung her head, like a child.

Riku sighed; he slid the coke can he was drinking from towards Kairi.

The red-head looked at the drink, before smiling, "Thanks."

The two sat in awkward silence.

Kairi let out a loud burp, hence breaking the silence. She quickly tried to cover her mouth.

Riku sat in shock for a moment before doubling over in laughter.

Kairi hit him playfully on the shoulder, "Stop it! It's not funny!"

The silverette sat up, "You're right." Kairi's eyes widened, "It's not funny." the red-head gave a smile, which was soon wiped off her face, "It's hilarious!"

Kairi glared at him before trying to get up. Her feet were tangled in the bar-stool's rungs. She, while letting out a light scream, fell into Riku, who was laughing.

Sora's blue eyes shot open. He was awoken by the sudden cold that engulfed him and an all too familiar scream.

The brunette ran into the kitchen, but made sure his feet didn't make a sound, as to not alert any kidnappers or thieves.

Upon entering the kitchen, Sora stopped dead.

The sight he saw was Kairi in Riku's arms. The silverette brushed some hair from Kairi's face saying, "You're so clumsy."

Sora felt something rising up in himself.
