Author's Note: Takes place in the middle of "Aliens of London" (S01 E04), right after Jackie sees the TARDIS for the first time. Inspired by the brief conversation between the Doctor and Mickey at the end of "World War Three" (S01 E05) and the Doctor's cover-up for Mickey.

Rose shook a finger at the Doctor. "Don't go anywhere!" She turned the finger on Mickey. "Don't start a fight." With a last warning glare at both of them, she sprinted out of the TARDIS in pursuit of Jackie.
The Doctor watched her go, than reached into his pocket for a Mars bar. He broke it in half and offered a piece to Mickey. They munched in silence for a moment, until Mickey raised an eyebrow toward the Doctor.
"When do you think she'll figure out it's all an act?"
