Prologue

Destiny glanced over the letter she had recieved in the mail one last time before pumping her fist in the air and shouting, "Woo-hoo!" The blonde and black haired girl danced happily around her room. She then jumped on her Kung Fu Panda bed and played her imaginary air guitar before jumping off and doing a herkie then landing on the floor. She landed a little harder then she had expected and she knew what was coming next.

"Destiny Marie Evans, if you stomp ONE MORE TIME I will come up there and personally kick your-" Destiny quickly cut her drunken dad off before he could finish his sentence.

"Sorry, Daddy!" she yelled. She quietly tiptoed over to her closet and began throwing her clothes on her bed. Thank goodness she was going to be out of the house and away from her dad in about thirty minutes! She threw out different clothes, like her red Hello Kitty hoodie, black Emo Spongebob shirt, tons of jean shorts and flip flops, and various other clothing. After she stuffed them all in her blue suitcase, she practically skipped downstairs and to the front door. Before she could push it open and jet outside, her dad appeared behind her.

"Just where are you going? It's Thursday afternoon," he growled. Destiny held up the letter and grinned.

Dear Destiny Evans,

You and a few select others from your area have won a free 1-week vacation to Nightmare Beach Resort, a fun amusement park and resort! We will pay for your traveling expenses, food, and any other fee. Please show up Thursday 3:00 p.m. at Colorado International for your plane. We look forward to seeing you!

Mr. Evans eyes seemed to try to focus on the paper, but couldn't. He shrugged. "Be back for dinner. You're cooking." With that, he walked back to his favorite spot: the couch in front of the TV. Destiny smirked and raced outside to her motorcycle. After jumping on, she glanced at the letter one last time before revving her engine and shooting off. Just who else could be going on this trip?
