Drabble – Dumb
Alexander didn't look at his companion as they walked to the palace. He was afraid of the look he would see in his face. So he kept walking and staring straight ahead.
"Do me a favor Hephaestion," the King asked his friend, "If you ever see me start to do anything like that again, remind me about today, maybe I can prevent another disaster from happening."
Hephaestion couldn't keep the laughter from seeping out of his voice when he replied, "You mean if I see you start to do something dumb again?"
"Never dumb, just less…unkingly." Alexander answered him majestically.
