I own nothing of these characters (excepting maybe Owen, but he's not in this story, so it doesn't count ;-) )

I knew I would be feeling sore later but getting to sweat and train and finally relieve stress felt great. Kota was able to set aside time to teach more self-defense maneuvers. "Try it again, only this time don't hold your breath but push it out". I was getting used to Kota's commanding tone. I turned and tried to duck and avoid Kota's hand catching me. I was too slow, my breathe released in a gasp as Kota grabbed my arm and spun me into him. "I told you to not hold your breath. Your instincts will improve and you will move more natural if you let it out and control it."

I sucked a breath back in, and analyzed my position. Kota had me pressed lightly against him, back to front. I knew he was expecting me to pull away and turn to face him, ready for the next try. Instead, I stepped a half step back, pressing myself against him and angling my head so that my neck was exposed. I heard a sharp intake of breath, and felt his chest expand behind me.

"Sang," he said, his hands grasping at my arms. I moved them quickly, wrapping them up behind me so they wound around his neck and head. I began combing my fingers through his hair, down along the tops of his ears. His hands loosened, trailing lightly down the underside of my arms to rest softly at my waist. He seemed hesitant, and I smirked.

"Kota," I whispered, waiting for him to react, to realize what I was about to do. His fingers gripped and re-gripped at my hips, as if he wanted to hold on, but wasn't sure he should. With the last let go, I grabbed his ears, throwing my hips back and pulling him over my shoulder. He sailed through the air, landing on his back in front of me with a grunt. He looked up at me, smirking.

"Good job," he said as I began to walk past him to the house. "But you forgot one thing." I didn't even get the chance to ask what before his leg shot out, twisting behind my ankles and pulling me down, his arms catching at my waist to pull so I landed on top of him. He quickly rolled over, pressing me down underneath him, my arms locked under my chest. "Never walk around, always walk away."

His lips touched my ear as he whispered to me. I pressed my hips up, pushing to try and move him. My butt came in contact with his groin, and I paused at what I felt.

"Kota?" I whisper asked. He moved quickly, sitting back and letting me up. I turned to look at him, but he wouldn't meet my eyes, his cheeks tinged red. I smiled, and knee walked over to him, trying to sit in his lap.

"Sang," he said, trying to push me away. "Maybe you should…"

"Take care of that for you?" I asked, faking an innocent tone. His hands dropped as his mouth opened, and his eyes widened slightly in shock. I took advantage of his shock, and climbed into his lap, my legs wrapping around him. I my arms circled his neck, and I pressed myself into his chest. He still didn't move, and my teasing and playfulness suddenly seemed awkward. Did I do something wrong? I closed my eyes, worried now that I had made a mistake and said something out of line.

I felt his finger under my chin, and felt myself pushed back as my face was brought up. "Sang," I heard him say in a soft command. "Look at me."

I shook my head, embarrassed and screwed my eyes shut tight. "Sang, sweetheart." I felt him nuzzle my nose with his, tracing along my cheek before his lips touched my eyelids. "Please look at me." I opened my eyes with a sigh. Might as well get the embarrassment over with.

Kota's bright green eyes stared at me from mere inches away. They were dark, with a spark in them that took my breath away. When I let out a small gasp, he nodded slightly as if satisfied. Then, he leaned forward, and his lips touched mine.
