Hi all. Yes another new story. LOL I am currently updating 2 as well. This one came to me late this morning when I was still in bed. LOL I hope you like it. Let me know. :0)

Patrick hated driving in the rain, but he didn't have much of a choice. He was in Teresa's car. He had left his at HQ, he didn't want to chance driving her in such nasty weather.

Meanwhile Teresa had a SUV. She was leaving her little car there too. The weather was horrible this night.

Wild winds, heavy rain, even hail of all things had started. There was even a threat of tornado's . Some had even been seen touching down.

He was setting all alone at the CBI when he decided he didn't want to be here, so he was going to pack up his stuff and leave. Leaving him no choice but Teresa's car.

He was going slowly, he could barely see the yellow lines in front of him. He was almost where he wanted to be. That's when things got worse.

A truck, much bigger than Teresa's car was swerving all over the street. Patrick tried to swerve to miss it, but things didn't go so great.

Patrick was hit head on, the car flew 10 feet in the air before landing hard back in the road, crashing in a hard thud. All that could be heard was the eery sound of the car horn from Teresa's car. Dead silence.

Teresa was home, thank God, what a disgusting day to have to do anything. She was currently waiting for Patrick to come in. She had showered, trying to get warm from the cold rain.

When she had entered her home she was dripping wet. She even turned the heat up, now it was toasty warm inside.

While she was waiting she started some homemade vegetable soup. The smell filled the small apartment with its delicious aroma. She had even baked some bread.

She smiled as she cooked, she hadn't cooked since she was little with her mother. It was always fun to do. Now she was having that fun again, this time cooking for, or with Patrick.

She was snuggled up in a pair of three sizes to big, heather gray sweatpants, and a simple light pink v neck t-shirt, and thick comfy gray socks. Her hair was somewhat up and down. That's when she got the call that changed everything...
