Love is the most wanted thing in the world. No, scratch that, needed. It's the most needed thing in the world.

When my first love and I met I thought we'd be together forever. I mean sure we broke up a few times during it, but during that time when we weren't together we were still loyal to one another.

It all started when my best friend Thalia's boyfriend Luke invited us to a Percy Jackson concert.

"No Thalia,"I said sternly,"I am not, going to this stupid Percy Jackson concert with you! He's just as stuck up as Nico!"

"Yeah, but Nico's Nico!"

"That's true..But I'm still not going!"

"What can I do to make you come with me woman?! I'm running out of ideas!"

I thought about.

What can Thalia do for me?

Got it!

"You're gonna be my servant for a month if you want me to come."I said with a smirk on my face.

She looked at me with wide eyes,"You little witch."

"Do you want me to come or not?"

"Yes,"

I smiled,"Then it's settled, you're my new servant."

She glared at me.

I winked,"What are we wearing to the concert?"

Her glare lessend once I asked that,"I was thinking something not to reavealing, but something that will make the guys drool over you."

I grinned,"I think I might actually enjoy this." Thalia laughed and squeezed my arm.

She walked past me towards her bedroom most likely to get to her closet. I didn't have to be told to follow her, I knew she was going to look for something for me to where. I sat on her bed as she flung expensive clothes around her walk in closet.

Thalia's room was a bit differnt than mine. She liked darker colors where as I liked lighter colors.

Now let me tell you, neither of us are girly girls. If I were to be caught by any of our friends in a sparkly top or something they would think I've done lost my mind.

Well anyway, Thalia's room is almost like other rooms except it's as big as three normal sized rooms put together.

She has one gray wall and the other are a darkish purple color. On the gray wall she has her name in silver.

There's one wall that is covered with window's. During the day Thalia and I come up here and read if we don't have anything else to do.

Right under her name is her king size bed. With her silk sheets you would think she was royalty, but she's not. Part of her floor is carpet while the other half is hard-wood.

Mine's sorta the same way except my walls are just a dull gray color and i have quotes all over my the wall where my bed is,right above it is one of my favorite quotes.

One wall has the door to my closet,one is a built in book shelf and it has all my favorite books and all the books I plan on reading.

Thalia finally came out out of the closet with one outfit for herself and one for outfit was a short black dress that didn't show to much, but just enough to make the guys stare.

Mine was some grey skinny jeans and a royal blue sleevless top. I gasped. It was perfect. She knew I didn't do anything skimpy unless I was willing, but right now I would wear anything.

"I love it, Thals!"I breathed.

"I'm glad,"She grinned.

"When are we leaving?"

"Thirty minutes."

"Kay, that'll give me enough time."I replied.

She winked at me,"Do your makeup dark or I'll do it for you."

I laughed,"Don't worry I'll paint my face and go as a clown."

She covered her mouth trying to keep in her laughter. That was one of our inside jokes .

A few years ago Thalia and I went to a carnival and one of our friends Drew was an assisstant for a magician and during the show the magician was asking for volunteers and one of the audience members yelled,"Why don't you use the clown standing beside you!"

A day never goes by without us bringing it now Thalia was doubled over and I was holding onto the wall for support. "Thals,"I said in between laughing,"we've-gotta-get-ready."

She quickly composed herself and handed me my clothes and ushered me out of her room and slamming the door in my face.

Well then..

I started to walk down the hall towards my room when I heard Thalia guffawing. I giggled to myslef and quickly walked to my room.

I took off my sweatpants and pulled on the skinny jeans. Well it wasn't exactly just a pull. You know it's not easy to get skinny jeans up. It was more of a pull-wiggle-jump.

I eventually got them up and pulled my old highschool sweatshirt off. That left me in a tank top. I pulled that off and pulled on the top.

I walked over to my full length mirror and checked out my apperance. I looked okay.

I wouldn't say I'm a pretty girl, but it would take one hell of a man to tell me I'm pretty. I'm not self concious , but I'm not self centered either. If one of my friends is in trouble I'll help.I'm not one of those people that only cares for themselves.

Once I was happy with my apperance I walked over to my vanity and took out my eyeliner. I traced the outside of my eye with black eyeliner to make my eyes pop. I traced my eye about five times until it looked Thalia's dark eyes.

My mascarra wasn't anything special, I just sorta rolled my eyelashes with it. I curled my blonde hair and let it cascade down my back.

I walked out of my room and down the hall towards Thalia's room. I didn't even knock beofre I went in.

She was putting mascarra on when I walked in.

"Aye, babes!"

She turned around with the mascarra wand in her hand and her eyes widened."You look hot."

I rolled my eyes,"I knew I was stunning, but I didn't know I was hot.I would've gone for something like sexy, but hot is okay too."

She laughed and twisted the top on the mascarra and turned to me."How do I look?"

"Smexy."

She sighed,"That wasn't exactly what I was going for, but it'll be alright."

I grinned."I still need I have to wear heels or can I pick whatever shoes I wanna wear?"

"I'll let you pick out your own shoes."She decided.

"YES!"I did a little victory dance and ran to my my closet,on a chair,were my favorite pair of combat boots.I slipped them on,walked over to my nightstand,and grabbed my phone.

I slipped it in my back pocket,walked back to Thalia's room, and slipped my head in.

"You ready?"

"Hell yeah!I'm driving!"

We raced to the car and I won. Yeah, that was pretty obvious, I wasn't the one wearing six-inch we pulled out of the drive way I turned on the radio in the middle of Thalia and I's favorite song.

Thalia rolled down all the windows and turned it up all the way."AND WE'LL NEVER BE ROYALS!" We started getting some weird looks and Thalia finally decided to rturn down the music and roll up the windows.

"So,"I started"why did Luke invite us to a Percy Jackson concert?"

"Percy is Luke's best friend."

"And why did you say yes?"

"Because Percy's my cousin, Annabeth."

"Holy shit!"

"Oh,it'll be fine Annie. You've met him before."

"When, Thalia?When have I met your famous cousin?"

She grinned,"Do you remember when I was gone that week when I had gone to see Luke up in New York?"

"Yeah.."

"Rememeber the guy with the raven black hair that came into my room and wouldn't wuit bothering you?"

"That was him?!"I asked shocked.

"Yup. He called me and said ,'Thalia, why is there a hot blonde in your room?'"

I burried my face in my hands and said,"He did not say that I was hot."

"Oh yes he did!"Thalia said.

"I don't want to talk about this anymore."I begged.

"And we went to highschool with him."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

I rolled my eyes,"Are we there yet?"

"Yep, I'm pulling in the parking lot right now."

"Don't we have to pay?"

"Not when you have backstage passes."

I laughed as Thalia and I walked by the gatekeeper,flashed him or backstage passes, then flipped him off.

We made our way in to the concert arena and looked for Luke. We were looking in the rows when I felt a hand on my waist and turned around.

Luke Castellan stood behind me smiling."How're my two favorite girls?"

I laughed ,"We're great,Luke."

Thalia smiled up at him and stood on her tip-toes and kissed him.

It was just a peck, nothing to make me sick.

"You guys wanna go see Perce?"Luke asked.

"Sure,"I said.

Thalia didn't even say anything, she just grabbed Luke's hand and linked her arm through mine and Luke took us backstage. We walked up to a group of people. Luke stopped us and walked up to the group,,"Perce, there's two lovely ladies that are here to see you."

A guy with raven black hair turned around and grinned.

He walked up to Thalia and gave her a hug then he turned towards me.

"Annabeth?"

I was slightly confused,"Do I know you?"

"Uh,yeah, I'm Percy,remember?We went to highschool together...We were bestfriends.."

"Doesn't ring a bell."I said quietly.

I looked over at Thalia and Luke. They were talking and laughing with the rest of the group. I turned back to the guy.

"Um, do you remember prom?We pranked all the teachers-"

"And hid in the janitors closet the rest of the time!I remember you now."

He smiled and surged forward and enveloped me in his arms. I tensed at first but relaxed and wrapped my arms around him.

He burried his face in my neck and I whispered in his ear,"I missed you,Persues."

He laughed and pulled back,"You remembered."

"Yeah, I did."

"We need to catch up,Annabeth Chase."He grinned.

"Yes we do, Percy Jackson."

I've rewritten Love That Sometimes Lasts.

I'll probably rewrite most of my stories.

I'll be putting 'You'll Always Be There',and 'One Wild Weekend' on hold until after my cheer competition which is a couple of weeks into November.

I will update this story as much as I can.

I have school work,reading,cheering,and going back and forth between my mother and father.
