The world can have their hideous sunset. Namixas.
)—Till the dawn comes…—(
"Isn't it beautiful?"
"Isn't what beautiful?"
Namine Hamasaki and Roxas Hikaru were sitting on a tree in Destiny Islands, watching the sunset. The young girl sighed in content, watching the colors dance around the sky. She looked over to the boy and gave him a light nudge, "You know what I mean. The sunset. Isn't it beautiful?"
He scoffed, "I've seen better things.."
It was Namine's turn to scoff as she retorted, "Oh, really? You've seen something better than the Destiny Islands sunset? Well, I, for one, think that you are lying."
"Oh really?"
"Really."
Roxas gave a calm smirk as he started to walk away, "I'll prove it. Be here at five in the morning."
Her mouth hung open, making her resemble all of the fish that were swimming around in the ocean below her. She started sputtering, "F-five in the morning?! Are you—are you insane?!"
"No. That's the only time I can show it to you. It only works when the night falls asleep."
"Night falls asleep? Roxas, you get back here! Roxas!"
It was too late. Roxas had already drowned himself in his music, leaving Namine to kick a pebble around as she stared at the sunset. Her head tilted as she examined each of the colors dancing in the sky, "This has got to be the most beautiful thing in the world. What is that boy thinking?"
)—(
Four fifty-nine in the morning. Namine was lying down on the bended paopu tree, waiting for Roxas to arrive. Whatever he was bringing to show her, it better be good. If he pulled one of those cheesy chick flick moves where he pulled out a mirror and called her the most beautiful thing, she'd be forced to throw him into the ocean.
Five o' clock, and Roxas was showing up right on the dot. He looked like he had no trouble waking up, as if he did this every morning. Maybe he did…? Either way, he came looking fully awake, and all of his clothes were on correctly. As Namine had left her house earlier, she realized that she had put her dress on inside out.
A calm look was on Roxas' face as he handed her a thermos of coffee, "I sort of figured that you would have trouble waking up."
Namine downed as much of the coffee as she could in one sitting, looking around as Roxas sat next to her on the tree. Setting the thermos down, she looked up at Roxas as she asked, "So where's this beautiful thing you were planning on showing me? If it's that thermos, I'm tossing you into the ocean right now."
He lightly laughed, "Trust me, it's not the thermos. That thing's not even mine, I stole it from Sora."
"Alright then, I'm ready. Where's this beautiful thing?"
His only reply was holding up a finger to his lips, signaling her to be quiet. His finger then moved to point at the bright sky. "It'll take a while. It's a gradual thing, not a big colored mess like the sunset."
She blinked for a while, "Is the sky… white?"
"It could be. It all depends on how you see it. That's the beauty of the sunrise. What one person sees as white, could just be a lighter shade of pink or blue."
Namine smiled as she turned to Roxas, "Or what one person sees as a friendship, could actually be love."
Roxas looked at her, a calm content evident in his expression as he placed his hand on top of hers. She leaned on him in return as she sighed, "It really is a beautiful thing."

Very short, I know, but I thought it was cute.
I wanted to reverse them a bit, compared to how I have them in Ice Cream. I wanted to make Roxas the calm one.
It was written in a bit of a hurry. Either way, R&R!
