The monsters couldn't believe it, this was impossible! Yet, there it was right in front of them. Their mouths were agape as they stared out into the distance. This surely had to be a dream…right? After what seemed to be like hours, one monster finally broke the silence.
"MONSTER BEACH! I KNEW YOU EXISTED!" The blue one-eyed blob, Bob screamed happily. Sure enough, it was in fact Monster Beach. There was even a bill board that said "Welcome to Monster Beach! A relaxing getaway for monsters! No humans allowed."
Bob danced around happily as the other monsters got over their shock. Looking down at her friends, Susan grinned. "I can't believe Monger was telling the truth. I guess this explains why he wanted us in bathing suits" She chuckled to herself. The doctor smirked and simply nods his head in agreement. Link stretched and cracked his knuckles.
"Oooohhh yeah! Now this is what I'm talking about! Ha ha! Last one to the water is a rotten fish-head!" Link sped off towards the crystal-clear water. Bob and Insecto sped off to catch after the fish-ape before he could reach the water.
Dr. Cockroach chuckled to himself before joining his monster friends, leaving good old Susan by herself. She giggled as she watched Bob jump all over Link just before he could reach the water and spat him back out. The giant girl propped herself up against a tall sand dune and relaxed, soaking up the rays and slowly closing her eyes.
-Later-
Hearing the sound of footsteps coming closer, Susan opened an eye and looked down. Link slowly made his way over to her and she placed a hand down for him to climb up on. "Have fun tough guy?" Link chuckled before resting in Susan's palm. "You betcha Suz! Aah feels nice to just relax for a change y'know?" The giant grinned, agreeing with the fish-ape. Looking out into the distance, Susan saw Bob and Cockroach having some mindless fun with one another. Insecto had gone off deeper to find something to eat as it was getting lunch time pretty soon.
"Didn't take long for you to stay in there. The three of them wear you out that fast?" Susan chuckled and received an eye-roll from Link. "Hey, it's called getting old Suz. I ain't what I used to be. If you were around during the 60's then baby, you would've seen a whole different kind of monster!" Link chuckled and flexed a muscle.
"I'm sure I would have pal." Susan smiled and rested back on the dune, closing her eyes. Some time passed as the two simply rested. "Gosh you're so pretty" Susan's eyes opened up and she looked down at Link.
"What was that Link?" The fish-ape went wide-eyed when he realized Susan was still awake and he turned away, blushing. "U-Uh..I..was just commenting to..m-myself on how…pretty you look. The sun really brings out your greenish glow." Link chuckled nervously. Susan raised an eyebrow before smiling. Plucking the fish-ape up with a gentle hand, she gently kissed him on the cheek. "Well that's very sweet of you to say. Thank you. I think I'll join the others, I'm well rested now." Susan set Link back down and went off to the water to join her friends.
The fish-ape stood there with a strange look on his face. His entire face was completely red as he touched his entire right cheek from where Susan kissed him. He..was just kissed..by Ginormica. This day just got even better. The Missing Link smirked to himself. "I still got it." With a hearty laugh he ran towards the ocean to join the others once more.
