Author's Note: Drabbles and Oneshots are quicker to write than multi-chapters, so for those of you who keep asking me to update, please be patient with me. I don't have any time on my hands at the moment.

Note: Just so you know, Josh has to leave because he's in the military. Thanks, ChocoPrep for making that clear.

Josh Hotz smiled happily as he stared into the beautiful green eyes of the girl dancing gracefully in his arms. She wore a green silk halter top dress, her straightened chestnut colored hair rolled in waves down her back. She was beautiful.

"Why are you still with me?" he asked her.

"Because I love you," she replied with a giggle.

"I can't even dance," he said.

"So? Neither can I!" she laughed.

"You can better than I can," he told her.

She rolled her eyes.

"You've got to admit that much, Layne," Josh said.

Layne rolled her eyes again and Josh smiled at her. He brought his forehead down and placed it against hers, his brown eyes staring into her green ones.

"I love you, you know that?" he asked.

"Of course," she smiled back. "Did you know that I love you too?"

He smiled back at her.

"Of course."

Tears rolled down Layne's cheeks as Josh held onto her, wiping away her tears.

"I have to do this. You knew it was going to happen," he said to her.

"I know," she replied, holding back a sob. She held on to him even tighter. "But I never, ever want to let you go."

"You're going to have to," he laughed, tears running down his face too."A least it's only 3 months."

"And then you have the other four years," Layne said.

"Eh. You'll live," Josh shrugged.

Layne punched him.

"Um, ow," he said.

Layne laughed, which caused Josh to smile.

Josh looked at his watch. It was almost time to go. He kissed Layne's forehead, then the tip of her nose, looked into her beautiful green eyes, and kissed her lips passionately.

"I love you so much," he whispered, bringing her closer to him, closing all space between them.

"I know, I love you more," she told him, tears falling down her face again.

"I have to go," he told her. "But you really don't love me more."

"Yes, I do." Layne told him as he grabbed his bags and hefted them onto the back of the bus.

"You lie." Josh replied with a smirk.

"I don't lie. Especially not to you." Layne returned his smirk.

"If you say so," he said as he kissed her one last time. She smiled at his back as he made his way onto the bus and waved out of the window to her.

"I'm going to miss you!" she shouted.

"I already do!" he shouted back as the bus started moving. Josh stared at Layne's smiling face. "I LOVE YOU MORE!" he shouted just as he exited her hearing range.

Layne merely smiled and shook her head.

He was her world, and she was wiling to wait forever to have him back in her arms.
