This is my first story and I may not be a good writer. Please, if there is something you think I could add or try doing, please give me a review.

My Favorite Day

I went to a church party. I couldn't help but notice my friends were there. Jessica and her cousins were walking around like they owned the place. After an hour or two into the party, Joseph, Jessica's brother, approached me and invited me to join them at their table. I complied and followed Joseph to his friends and beautiful sister. We all talked and greeted each other. After a quarter of an hour, I checked my watch and it was 8:37 PM and almost instantly after that, Jessica showed me a picture on her phone that said, " What I feel like when I realize my crush hates Star Wars" with the picture showing Darth Maul killing one of the greatest Jedi masters from Star Wars Episode I: A Phantom Menace. I quickly thought and said, "Good thing that isn't me," and Jessica gawked at me like it had been the thousandth time that I have attempted to flirted with her ( which it has ). Immediately, some slow music came on. I glanced at my watch again and said that it was 8:39 PM. I waited until four o'clock with my mind yelling at me, "Come on! Make your move! You have had a crush on Jessica for a year now! Ask her to dance!"

I did what my mind had asked me to do and simply asked, "Wanna go up? If you dance with me, I will give you some chocolate tomorrow." I saw her cousin immediately whisper something into Jessica's ear. Moments later, Jessica stood up hesitantly. I joined her and we walked up. I slowly placed my hand on her hip and grasped her hand. We began to make a slow, but fluent motion. My friends, who have danced before, told me that when you dance with the love of your life, an illusion of you descending into the heavens with her will occur, and it will feel like an eternity. That happened tonight and I will never forget it. Slowly, Jessica's head inched closer to me and rested on my shoulder. I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. It felt like as an eternity, as it was described. The music stopped and we did what everybody else did. We slowly walked back to our tables. I sat next to Joseph and he quietly said, "You know we recorded that... right?"

I don't remember much else of what happened that night, but I will never forget it. I went to bed, and fell asleep quickly, eager for the next day. I dreamed of us dancing, and I savored every second of it.

Just so you all know, most of my stories that aren't fandom actually happened in my life, such as this one. I changed the names of the people mentioned in this story for safety reasons. I thank you all for reading this story and comment on what I should continue doing or start doing. Once a week, probably Saturday, I will write a story like this or a fan fiction. If you have any ideas, please tell me and I will try making them as soon as possible.
