Once upon a time, some Canadian guy got drunk in the woods and started going, "Eh, that looks good, eh? UUUNGH!" and made the Mooseman, who was half man and half moose. The Mooseman wandered the woods alone, raised by wolves and beavers at the same time. He wandered the woods for ages, until he came across a castle in the winds, and he came across the owner, Alexander of Brennenberg; and Alexander, being a kindly old man, took him in, adopted him. He gave him armor and a new sword and gave him purpose and a duty.

But then this young brigand came in, by the name of Daniel, and Daniel was kind of a douche…but he was alright, I guess. Anyway, Daniel worked for Alexander for a while, so the Mooseman left him alone, but when Daniel went all psycho-bonkers-crazy and decided to kill Alexander after all the atrocities they'd committed together, the Mooseman found his calling.

The Mooseman wandered the halls of the castle, constantly on the alert for Daniel; he often gave his ghastly call, the call of a moose - the only language he knew. "Come out, you brigand!" he tried to say, but it only came out as moose calls. The moose calls frightened Daniel, but not enough to get him to stop, so the Mooseman found Daniel and chased him through the castle, bashing down doors whenever they came between him and his quarry, until he came to an empty room with a closet. He couldn't find Daniel anywhere, so he assumed that he must have run him over while chasing him, and he left the room, satisfied that he had done his duty.

And then Daniel came out of the closet and went on his merry way, and he killed Alexander and destroyed the whole castle, and the Mooseman died in the rubble.

The End
