Here's my second FanFic everyone! It takes place after DJ is eliminated in "Hook, Line, and Screamer." What if Izzy forgave Owen during that time and not at the end of TDI? And where does it connect with the next episode? Well, you're about to find out! Oh, one more thing: I own nothing here.

It was about half an hour after DJ left on the Boat of Losers, and Owen, now confident that the Psycho Killer is gone for good, went into the woods after Izzy. He felt guilty about sacrificing her to the disguised Chef Hatchet and not apologizing to her.

The crazy redhead could sense the big blond teen following her, and with a glower, turned around to the emptiness of the forest as she tried to get away from him. "Okay Owen, you can come out of hiding now."

In a solemn way, the party guy came out from behind a bush as he silently tried to find the words to say to his crush who he made out with a short while ago.

"Hey, Izzy," he started nervously, "like to hear about the hotdog eating contest again."

"Sorry," hissed the crazy girl, "but that's not changing the subject of what happened earlier."

"I understand that I was like the biggest loser jerk to walk on Earth, and I should have said sorry. I deserved getting punched for flirting with you."

"I'm glad you see things my way, Owen. I hope you're stewing in your juices about it all."

"You have no idea, Izzy. But if there's anything I can do to make it up to you, I will. But first, I want you to know that I truly am sorry for ditching you like that."

"Oh, now you're sorry? Well guess what I . . . I . . . I . . ." The crazy girl stuttered trying to find the right words when she realized something: How could she stay mad at him? Sure he didn't apologize sooner, but he still did.

"What?" asked the party guy nervously. "You don't forgive me, do you?"

What Owen least expected next was Izzy hugging him.

"Owen," said the crazy girl, "you didn't say sorry sooner, but you still did. Izzy can't stay mad at you, no matter what."

"So . . . you forgive Owen?"

"Yeah, I forgive you. However, the audience doesn't know that yet."

As they broke out of their embrace, Owen raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"

"I thought, just for the fun of it, I stay mad at you until the proper timing. Let's leave the viewers on edge—what'd ya say?"

Hearing Izzy's absurd idea, the party guy just shrugged. "I don't see why not. What did you have planned?"

"Just try giving me flowers and I reject them, since I'll still be carrying a grudge."

"Are you sure you're still not mad at me?"

"Positive—it's just a little joke we'll secretly pull on everyone."

"And we'll even get Chris into thinking—" started Owen as he caught on with the idea.

"Exactly!" announced Izzy happily. "What do you think?"

"You know, it would be funny when we admit that we have been pulling the wool over everyone's eyes . . . you got yourself a deal."

"Great! So Owen, do you honestly love Izzy?"

"Absolutely. Why do you ask?"

Pulling him down, Izzy kissed a surprised Owen on the lips.

After they pulled away, the crazy girl smiled at her crush. "That's why."

Feeling his lips with a dreamy look, the party guy asked. "So . . . does Izzy want to hear how Owen won the Hotdog-A-Thon again?"

"Yes!"

"All right. It all started . . ."

And as Owen told Izzy the story again, the couple secretly thought to themselves how happy they are to finally be together. Now all they had to do was put their plan into action for the next challenge. . . .
