A Day with Christopher Robin

a/n: This is my first fan-fic so r&r and be kind please.

"Oh, Christopher Robin!" Pooh shouted outside of Christopher's house.

"Is that you Pooh Bear?" answered Christopher's voice.

Pooh Bear posed his question, "Will you come out to play with me?"

Christopher Robin appeared at his window. "Of course," he replied. "But I have to tell my mother I'm going out first." As fast as he appeared, Christopher disappeared into his house. Pooh stood there waiting impatiently, kicking around the fallen leaves on the ground. A few moments later, the front door of the house swung open and through it came Christopher Robin. "What would you like to do today?"

Pooh Bear thought hard for a moment. "Would you like to go play pooh sticks?" he finally asked. Christopher Robin nodded. So, the two of them headed for Pooh Sticks Bridge. Along the way, they both picked up the sticks that each of them thought was sure to win the game.

When Pooh and Christopher got to the bridge they stood on the right side. Pooh counted, "One, two, three!" On three, they both dropped their sticks in the water and ran to the other side of the bridge. Christopher Robin and Pooh Bear waited watching the water flow past.

"I win!" announced Pooh Bear excited to see his stick float out from under the bridge first.

"Darn it. You win again!" Christopher Robin scoffed. "Well, how about we go do something else," he tried brightening his mood a tad. "We should go see if Piglet is around and wants to play."

Pooh approved, "That's a splendid idea!" The two pals strolled along the road together to Piglet's house. They hoped he would be able to join them in their play.

Christopher and Pooh knocked on Piglet's door. The door creaked open and in the doorway stood a small pink creature. "Why, hello there Christopher Robin and Pooh; what brings you by my home on this lovely day?"

"We were just wondering if you'd like to come and play with us," Pooh Bear spoke up.

"Great! How about we go play games at the honey tree," Piglet suggested. The other two nodded.

So the threesome made their way to the honey tree and played games there until dark. "I had an awesome time with you guys," Christopher Robin concluded, "but I have to leave right now. Maybe I'll see you two later. Goodbye."

Pooh and Piglet responded together, "Bye. See you tomorrow." As Christopher walked off, they stood there waving.

"That was a wonderful day," Pooh Bear proclaimed.

"Yes it was," Piglet agreed, "it surely was."
