Author's note
Hey guys! This is my first storyryry. Please review and help me be a better writer! :3
Today was Christmas eve and Italy was, to say the least, very excited. He was staying with Germany for the holiday, since the electricity had gone out at Italy's house. Italy was looking forward to tomorrow since it would be the first Christmas he spent with his boyfriend. It has been three months since they started dating. Italy confessed to Germany and surprisingly he felt the same way! Since Germany has had more work lately, they haven't been on as many dates. This just give Italy more of a reason to be around him. Germany was working a lot today, too. Italy decided not to worry and made hot chocolate for the both of them.
Italy took two glasses of the warm drink and walked carefully to Germany's office.
"Doitsu! I brought you some hot chocolate," Italy said as he opened the door.
"Oh, thank you Italy."
The Italian set the drink on the desk by a smaller stack of papers closer to Germany.
"Italy, can you hand me that blue book over there? The one on the chair," Germany asked.
"Okay!" Italy gleefully skipped over to the chair and grabbed the book.
As he turned to hand it to Germany, he tripped!
The flew and hit the cup, spilling the hot drink on Germany and the papers.
"Italy!" Germany yelled, "Why must you always ruin everything! I have been working on these papers for hours now and you came along and screwed it up!"
Tears formed in the corners of Italy's eyes as he listened.
"I-I'm sorry!"
This only made Germany angrier.
"You can't manage anything on your own! Always getting yourself into trouble and making me come to your rescue! I have more important things to do than always dealing with you!"
Italy was speechless. Am I a burden to Germany...?
Tears freely flowed down Italy's face as he stood there, shocked. He dashed out of the room, devastated that his lover thought of him this way.
Italy didn't even listen to what Germany had to say as he fled the office.
