Haha so here's the tale of how this story was created... I was sitting around thinking about fanfiction and how I would never be able to write a Gelphie or even a Gelphie implied fanfic story and then this popped into my mind and I was like wow that's ironic xP Well I hope you enjoy not only my first Gelphie, but also my first one shot! xD As Always -Greengirl16
If I don't get at least one review soon I may lose my mind and give up on writing.
A/n: Yes, I know it's short... I apologize for that... Please just bare with me
Galinda and Fiyero stepped out of a carriage into the brisk night air. Fiyero pulled out his wallet and thanked and the driver, tipping him extra. The carriage slowly pulled away.
Galinda smoothed out her dress and then looked around. The campus was nearly empty at this time and extremely quiet. She was about to turn her attention back to Fiyero when a certain green girl caught her eye, "Elphie," she called out and dragged Fiyero over to meet their friend.
Elphaba, who had just gotten back from eating, looked up at the faint sound of clicking. She was turning the corner to enter her dorm, but suddenly a small blonde appeared in front of her.
"Boo," Galinda said, causing Elphaba's heart to flutter, "Did I scare you?"
"Galinda, I could hear you heels coming from all the way across the courtyard," Elphaba said, trying to act normal.
"Darn Elphie," Galinda pouted, "You are hard to scare."
Galinda and Elphaba smiled at each other. Galinda embraced her friend in a hug, "I missed you Elphie."
Elphaba felt the heat rise in her cheeks, "but you were only gone for two hours."
"So…I can still miss you can't I," Galinda asked and looked up at her friend smiling. Her smile turned to a frown in seconds though, "Elphie you look a bit feverish. Are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah, I am fine," Elphaba said quickly then rushed away.
"See there it is," Galinda sighed.
"There's what," Fiyero asked clearly not understanding what she was talking about.
"I don't know…she has been acting different a little after Dr. Dillamond was taken away…"
Fiyero's mind rushed to the memory of Elphaba and him saving the Lion cub. He knew this must be the cause of all of this.
"She hasn't been reading, she's been letting me give her makeovers, and she's been shopping…which really worries me."
"It's alright," Fiyero comforted his girlfriend, "I am sure it's just a phase she is going through. I'll talk to her for you and see what is going on."
"Okay…"
Fiyero continued to walk Galinda back to her dorm room. At the door they shared a sweet, long kiss and then parted their ways.
The next morning, Fiyero spotted Elphaba walking to class, "Elphaba," he called out.
She ignored him and continued to walk away.
Fiyero ran up to her and grabbed her arm causing her to jump. She glanced over at him, "Actually deciding to show up for class, Mr. Tiggular?" Elphaba started to walk away again, but Fiyero's hand gripped even tighter around her arm. "What do you want?"
Fiyero pulled her aside, "Look, Galinda said you have been acting weird lately. I figured it was because of what happened when we saved the Lion cub and I completely understand."
"Understand?"
"Yes, and I wanted to let you know that I have feeling's for you too."
Elphaba's eyes widened.
"Don't worry I am planning on breaking up with Galinda soon. I love you and I can see that you feel the same way about me." Elphaba stood still, staring at him. "It's alright you can tell me, I promise I won't tell anyone."
Elphaba opened her mouth to speak and then shut it again.
Fiyero smiled, speechless, he thought to himself, he then leaned over to kiss her, but she stepped back, "Fiyero…, I love Galinda," she then turned around and walked away.
Please review :)
