Sam's POV

Later that morning she comes down in a flannel with a brown belt high up on her waist, light blue jeans and sneakers. She has no makeup on and still looks a little tired from last night but still, she's stunning. My eyes linger on her shirt for a while until I say,

"As good as that shirt looks on you I'm pretty sure it's mine."

"Really? This thing? Huh, well I found it in my room and just decided to wear it," she says with a wink.

I hand her a plate of breakfast but before she goes to sit down she whispers in my ear,

"Just so we're clear, you aren't this back for a while."

I smile to myself and grab my own plate of food.

"Marina and Ella are coming over tonight so if you aren't having dinner with your family then we can finally have something other than pizza because Marina can actually cook," she says as I smile at the memory of when we first started dating and thought cooking couldn't be that hard so we decided to take it up. Needless to say we're masters at burning water and eating out.

I live with my dad and mom but spend most of the day over here at Six's because besides Ella staying over every other night she lives alone. I have half of my clothes here anyway so it works out just fine. Like I mentioned Ella hangs around here a lot. She switches in between Marina and Six's. And even though John and Sarah live just down the street, she'll never admit it but I know she likes having somebody around the majority of the time.

I've learned over the past few years that Six loves to talk the happy times she's had with Katarina. She also loves hearing embrasssing stories about my childhood just as much as my dad loves telling them.

My dad really likes Six. He thinks she's funny and can tell we care about each other. They have an interesting relationship, they always run into each other at a coffee shop just down the block. Even though they both get coffee there every day at the same time they still act surprised to see each other. They talks for a few minutes before continuing their days.

My mom on the other hand was always so pissed at my dad for the alien theories and basically the whole idea of aliens and war. She wasn't very happy when I got involved in an alien war for a year. So you can imagine she wasn't completely delighted when she found out I was dating Six. It took her a while to warm up to the idea and not fight me every time I went to see Six. She's still trying pretty hard to get used to the idea but she's come a long way. She asks how Six is doing on a regular basis. She'll invite her over to dinner once in a while to show she's making an effort.

Another thing I learned is that Six loves to laugh. She teases me all the time and comes up with the stupidest jokes. She likes to be happy even though it's really hard for her. All of us for that matter.

"Yeah I'll come over," I answer.

She smiles and gets up to put her plate in the sink. I get up to do the same. I walk behind her and slip my arms on her waist and plant a kiss on the back of her neck. She jumps a little then laughs and turns around, She kisses me on the lips then pulls away quickly.

"Well then go take a shower or something because you smell bad."

She leans back in and kisses me quickly, "And I'll see you later."
