Yo.
Read this, and tell me I'm not bashing Lenalee. I'll laugh- even though it wasn't really intentional.
It's just that this real-life situation happened to me a while ago- and yes, it was so painful that I had to write it into a fanfic-scheme. -Man fit- I don't really hate Lenalee, she was just susceptible to the 'broken gaydar syndrome'. Meh, it's forgivable. (Unless your his boyfriend- watch and see? You might giggle.)
Oblivious
She seemed so oblivious. Not to the important things, but to the little side notes in life- the cliffnotes. Like she could see the sidewalk, walked on the sidewalk everyday even- but the little cracks that would trip her, she'd stumble but just continue giggling and running along, only to trip on a very similar crack a few steps later and do it again. It didn't even seem like she was recovering after most of them even.
It was almost painful to watch, Lavi realized one morning.
Because the four of them sitting at breakfast like this had never really seemed like a huge problem. But suddenly, it was. And, in that pain, Lavi nearly wished Allen- that provider of those proverbial sidewalk cracks- would just stop being so nice, and maybe, just make that sidewalk vault suddenly- complete ninety-degree angle, please, maybe? Just to stop this awkward pain.
And if that exasperated looks Yuu-chan was giving his soba noodles was any indication, he was hoping for the same thing. Probably hoping that Moyashi-chan would do it before Kanda decided to put a crack in her- 'crack' here meaning slice.
Lavi had caught the hints weeks ago… or more so, seen Moyashi-chan sneaking out of Yuu-chan's room at around 6:10 in the morning, when Yuu would have been getting up to go train. And, well, the limp kind of gave him away. And when he'd cornered the two about it at lunch that day, Moyashi's blush and Yuu's glare defiantly gave it away before either had said anything. Because, obviously they tried to deny it.
But, maybe after having watched this for two weeks now- Lenalee trying to take everything Allen said as an proposal of marriage or a request for a large amount of childbearing, and Allen nervously laughing as he tried to tell her that's not what he was doing in the nicest way possible- Lavi was starting to see that Lenalee was just a bit oblivious.
I really don't hate her- promise.
Press that button down there and fight with me about it?
-Aseru.
