Somewhere the one I wanna be with, is with somebody else.

Leafpool hung her head. He didn't want her. He'd left her with this big mess, but for some reason she still wanted him. It irked her to see him with Nightcloud.
And I'm pacing by the phone,

She didn't understand. How can you refuse your own kits? They made this mess together, they both need to clean it up. How could he love Nightcloud over her? Was that his way of overcoming grief?
Well I'd rather start out slow,
this whole things like some sort of race.
Instead of winning what I want,
I'm sitting here in second place!
"Stop thinking about him.", she told herself, but how can you forget the love of your life? how do you forget those eyes like chips of ice, black pelt like midnight. How can you forget the way his tail sweeps your flank? How do you forget the day you left everything you ever knew to be with who you thought was the one?
You don't.
You don't, and she knew what she had to do.
She forced herself to lift her head. She stared out of her den, watching the sun slowly sink until it was a little sliver of light on the horizon.
Leafpool took one last look at her sleeping clan. "Please remember me for who I used to be.", she thought as she made her way out of Thunderclan territory and began the long walk to the mountains.
