Andy's POV
So, Sharon is feeling a bit off these past few days and everytime I ask her if there's something that she wants to talk about she says that everything is fine, but I know she's lying. Something's bothering her and I want to know what.There is only one month till the wedding and everything is going well with the organization, but Sharon, I'm just worried about her, so the other night I had enough of not knowing what's bugging her...
We were sitting at the table having dinner and she was pushing the peas on her plate left-right, right-left, left-right, she was acting like a child and she barely ate a bite...
"Okay, that's enough, will you finally tell me please?", I asked putting my fork down on the plate.
"Tell you what?"
"What has been bothering you these past few days?"
"I told you that everything's fine.."
"Everything is not fine Sharon, c'mon, I'm really worried, you have barely touched your food, you haven't eaten a proper meal for days!You are not in the mood to do your job or to go out for dinner, I'm pretty sure everything is not alright"
"Oh..."
I reached for her hand.
"C'mon honey, I know you and you know me, you know you can tell me everything"
"Andy...the thing is that I'm...scared."
"Of what sweetheart?" I was starting to get really nervous
"Of not being a good wife", I let her hand go and she stood up and looked me in the eyes and said, "I haven't been really married for 25 freaking years, I don't remember what I'm supposed to do and with that, I've never been a good wife and now..." she moved her glance from my eyes and down to her feet, "...I'm gonna mess this marriage up too." she let her tear fall to the ground and then I stood up and raised her chin for her to look at me
"Beautiful, first and foremost,you did not mess up your previous marriage, we both know who did and it doesn't matter anymore because the past is in the past, second, I'm scared too but I know that with you by my side I can do anything, you are not supposed to do anything we will figure out what to do when the time comes, honey...do we need to have a plan for everything?"
Sharon glanced down to the ground again but soon looked me in the eyes.
"What if we don't suceed,what if our perfect little world crumbles down, and then what?"
"We are going to work it out like we always do, because guess what?"
"What?"
"We're a team." I smiled.
"Andy..." She smiled at me.
"Yes darling?"
"I love you"
"I love you too"
And in that exact moment I kissed her as hard as I could because I knew that whatever comes I will be able to survive because of that woman who was standing right in front of me.
And we will always have eachother and win in every battle because world guess what?
We are a Team...
