Diamond
my story about the beginning of the diamonds and the empire.
First there was an empty nutrient rich planet, from its rich nutrients and materials arose Diamond. She was a powerful being who's body was a projection of light that could interact with the world.
From the land she created lesser beings similar to herself, aristocrats and soldiers, dancers and singers. Upon them she build an empire, the order of the diamond.
Eventually another diamond was created and she joined her sister. Yellow diamond.
Diamond chose to give herself the name White Diamond, to differentiate herself from her sister. After a few more millennia Blue diamond rose from the land, cold and beautiful. She joined her sisters in their empire but they still felt incomplete.
When Pink diamond rose the diamonds and their subjects celebrated. Finally the diamonds were complete. White and yellow were jealous of Blue and Pink's closeness but even they couldn't complain.
The gem war tore apart the diamonds. Pink diamond was shattered, Blue's tears wouldn't stop. Yellow moved on, White became detached. They still led their empire as a group of three.
The empire was efficient and left behind Earth, mostly. They built up their strength and technology and have set their sights again on the blue planet. The diamonds live on missing their fourth sister, to reclaim, the Earth. Her lost colony and her soldiers employed on her old outpost.
They miss her, What's the use of feeling, Blue?
