Is it Fate?

Was it fate that Cephiro's Pillar be the Flame of hope? But was it also fate, that Cephiro's one and only Kailu fall in love with that Flame?

No, it wasn't fate... It was Destiny.

Lantis P.O.V.

'My Flame... why did you return to your world and leave me behind. Must I be only allowed to love your bittersweet memory and not the mere presence of you? I can only wish I could hold you in my arms like before, and keep you close, and protect you from those who would dare harm the Flame of Hope.'

I lie awake at night, thinking of my beloved crimson haired flame. But because I have now become so sleepless at night, I cannot sleep... at least not until I see her face, if it's only at least one last time.

I silently creep out of bed and walk out onto my balcony and all the memories of my loved one... the only one left that I had to live for. I look at the moon and I feel as if my Flaming Star of Another world were right beside me, whispering in my ear and leaning on my shoulder. And vaguely, if I've truly lost my mind... I can hear her ever sweet voice saying to me... In barely a whisper in the wind,

"I will always be by your side... now and forever."

Normal P.O.V.

And as Lantis looks at the bright moon of Cephiro, Hikaru, the Flame of Hope was looking at the Full moon of Earth and thinking...

Hikaru's P.O.V.

'My beloved Kailu, I wonder why you couldn't come with me... here to my home, but I will always be by your side... never to leave your side... ever.'

I close my eyes as I think about the memories of when we first met, of all the times he protected me, an of all the hardships we overcame. But why was it that I became a Magic Knight of Cephiro, then become the Pillar of Cephiro... and then in the process-- wind up falling in love with you... Cephiro's one and only Kailu--- All at the same time?

But then, I wonder to myself... I look up at the distant moon, that seems to take on my beloved Kailu's face... messy jet black hair, purple-turquoise eyes that always made me want to melt into your arms, and that rare smile he'd give me when we're alone.

'I wish I could be by your side right now.' I thought to my self. I slowly took out the pendant that Lantis had given me... in answer to his promise to his mother.

Normal P.O.V.

Unaware was Hikaru, that a single tear had made it's way down her face and onto the pendant that she had clutched in her hand. When that single tear fell and hit the pendant... it started glowing... The Pillar of Light was going back to her Black Knight's suprised face and yet extremely willing open arms to catch his beautiful Flame Warrior... his Princess.

But just before they kissed, Hikaru whispered something in Lantis' ear, so that only he could hear what was said, and in return replied.

"Aishiteru, Lantis-kun. My Black Magic Swordsman."

"Aishiteru, Hikaru-chan. My Beloved Flame Princess."

And with these words, the two of them kissed... they're vows sealed.
